    A massive thanks to a good friend of mine , playing with me through all the bosses to get sunlight medals. A lot of laughs and a lot of fun and with that , the final miracle needed for platinum. I may not have enjoyed this game at the start but I damn sure love it now. Fantastic platinum journey.

    Discovered a few days ago that poison immunity is a thing in ds2! Just get your resistance high enough and there's going to be no bars! (same applies to bleed)

    Dark Fog remains to be one of my favorite hexes. The instant long range teleport, the magical fast acting toxin and the obscuring smoke makes it highly effective in either PVP or PVE.

    Dark souls 2 truly feels like a journey, and a long one at that.

    I've just finished my first complete playthrough of DS2. I beat Zallen and Lud and warped back to Majula and proceeded to wonder around aimlessly with that damn soundtrack in the background, and whilst looking out at the sunset I realized why ds2 felt so different yet special compared to 1 and 3; the ladder fails to capture that feeling of mystery, melancholy, and comfort that I feel after completion of DS2. It felt like I had been through so much, even though I only started that character a couple of days previous, as though I had a real personal connection to the story and characters. Almost as if I had found something most people don't or wouldn't appreciate. Alas, I cannot describe it fully in words, but I hope some others can recognize this weird feeling as well.

    Perhaps I'm overreacting, but I certainly didn't feel like this after completing 1 and 3.

    Update 1: Made it to my boy McDuff. 3 bosses down so far. Only real challenge so far has been shield durability and the several trips from Majula to the Pursuers boos room. Now on my way to deal with the Flexile Sentry and maybe Ornstein

    As the title asks what is the best combination of armor pieces for min maxing? Also I'm talking specifically PVE since I'm gonna go into NG+ soon
