- I just finished this game and it was great!
- Is this Earthen Peak from Dark Souls 2?
- I have recently finished my 100% run of ds2 but now I have this weird lighting bug that makes my game look very dark. Also, any light that is bright enough seems to bleed very heavily. All in all, it makes the game hard to play and look at. Any tips/help?

| I just finished this game and it was great! Posted: 06 Apr 2021 10:46 AM PDT A bit of context: after rage quiting ds1 8 years ago, I recently came back to the series with Ps5 DeS. And it caught me. In the last 3 months I finished DeS, BBorne, Ds1 and 2 days ago Ds2. My favorite up till now is ds1, but I realize what they were trying to do with ds2, the ambitions were crazy, they added more of everything, more flavour of similar weapons, more stats, more zones, enemies, bosses. I like a lot of variaty in my RPGs and DS2 provided in spades (that is why BBorne is my least favorite until now). Also my favorite zones in the series are the ones in the dlcs of ds2. Many mistakes were made: new engine, 2 directors, all the extra content, an anoying stat, graphical downgrade, etc. But I really think it is a great game that was too ambitious for the company back then. I would definetly recommend it to most people who liked first game and I am glad to see its reputation starts to get better in the community! [link] [comments] | ||

| Dark Souls 2 players: the case for gentlemanship Posted: 06 Apr 2021 02:35 AM PDT The case for gentlemanship/gentlewoman (?). Anyway: Someone invaded me on Earthen Peak, killed me. Then I was summoned into Earthen Peak to help somebody else, he invaded and killed the world master. I got back to my world. Then I got invaded again by the same guy or gal. Goddamit there comes that guy again. But whaddya know. I do a Wave gesture to start the duel, but he just stands in front of me, drops me a Crafstman Hammer (he noticed I had one, so he dropped another one so I can duel wield — how considerate), does the Praise the Sun, runs to the nearest ledge and drops to his death. This is not the first 'incident': somebody gave me items in Heide of Flame, and vanished. They may have felt pity for me seeing I was so fashionly underdressed. You will definitely see trolls here and there in messages for illusory walls that don't exist etc, but I've seen more silence generosity from players that don't get recognition. Thing is, I've been hooked to this game ever since and have beaten it many times with different builds, and now I want to try something truly unique. Creativity is not my strong suit, so I've only done basic builds like full strenght, full dex, quality build, hexer, mage, pyromancer and yet I want to try something unique. Though I admit I did not fully complete the game on each playthrough, I skipped a couple optional bosses which I felt more of a hassle than being worth (looking at you RRA) so I was wondering what is the most unique build you guys did? I tried invading somebody else and it worked, we should be in the same soul level range I have 500k and he has 300k/400k. It doesn't let me join his world, and it doesn't let him join mine. I have heard that the sword only drops from specific enemies and not all the sword wielding dragon warriors. Is this true? Or is the drop rate really just that low. I am going hollow. Help. | Posted: 06 Apr 2021 09:09 AM PDT The first game in the Dark souls franchise that I played was 3, I will do it and I intend to platinum, well the thing is that I bought Dark souls 2, because it was in a good promotion, but from what I saw, Dark souls 2 has many differences from Dark souls 3, one of them is the Adaptability Status, which from what I saw influences the bearings and things like that, I wanted to clear a doubt here on reddit about this how I adapt my build, like how many points I do I need to put my bearing to be at least decent?
