She was born from a piece of Manus, a being of dark and the spark in which the abyss sprung forth. Still, after seeking out a being of power (the ivory king) she has managed to overcome her fearful nature and her dark origins to become someone who is dependable and benevolent. With her king at her side she experienced love and compassion and her king even entrusted her with the protection of his kingdom while he went away battling the old chaos. Alsanna could have fled or done other outrageous things, but no she actually stayed in his kingdom and protected it with her life. A shard of Manus who has overcome her nature and has become a beloved queen of eleum loyce. Alsanna deserves way more attention because she is truly a part of a positive and heartwarming story so rare in the souls series! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 15 Feb 2021 02:45 AM PST I racked my brain to come up with someone in the souls series who deserves the title king, the only one that truly fits the title is the Eleum Loyce Ivory king. Not only was he already beloved by his people for his valor and compassion, he also married a child of dark knowing that she was one of the dark. Not only that, he even managed to help her overcome her fearful and dark nature and in the end she even serves him willingly and eventually loved him with all her heart, they became a couple full of love and respect. And the icing of the cake, he established his throne on top of the entrance of the old chaos, guarding his kingdom from its fires and demons. And not only that, he entrusted his kingdom to his beloved (a child of dark) whom he trusted explicitly and he marched with his soldiers into the chaos to stop its spread! All the other lords or kings in this series are nothing compared to this man, a being who deserves all the praise for his integrity, bravery, wisdom, love and compassion! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 15 Feb 2021 12:34 PM PST Just did all 3 mini dungeons for the Pilgrims of the Dark. The last one i did was in the Shaded Ruins. When i fell down into the mist the Darklurker boss fight began. Was doing close combat till he split then i was dodge/bowing them. When he only needed like one shot i got greedy stood still for a second and they both casted that soul arrow like thing. Anyway my arrow arrived first but as soon as they exploded into red particles i got hit and died. Didn't receive Darklurker's soul item nor the soul-xp for the kill so i was thinking that it didn't count and went back using a human effigy but now after reaching the end of the dungeon and jumping into the mist i get teleported out to the wheel chair guy. When i reached him again i got the message that i have risen in the ranks and that i am truly the chosen one or something. So was this a kill or a glitch or what? Can i fight him again? | Question on the Burnt Ivory King Posted: 15 Feb 2021 08:35 AM PST So I beat the main game and went to the Ivory King DLC, I got the 4 loyce knights and the Ivory King himself isn't that hard (I can consistently get him below 50%) I'm just having trouble with the charred knights before, I'm making strategies for them but in need to know their spawn timer/conditions so far I'm thinking they spawn a wave after one has been killed and they also spawn a wave after a certain time has past but I would confirmation on that. DSR: Strength build - black knight greatsword Bloodborne: Quality build - whirligig saw/ church pick. DS3: Quality/STR - Great club. | Preaching to the Choir but this damn Blue Smelter Demon... Posted: 15 Feb 2021 11:41 AM PST This is about to make me quit Dark Souls 2. I'm pretty sure it's an optional boss (not sure because I actually can't find anywhere else to go in Brume tower) but the fact that it's beating me so hard is driving me insane. I want to beat all the bosses in Dark Souls 2 so I can say that I've beaten the game and not have it nag at the back of my head making me start another game. But this is quite possibly the worst boss. The run up is horrendous and when I actually get there I'm usually dead instantly. I even tried doing a summon thinking it'd make it possible but I was down in the first two swings (sorry man, I know I'm bad.). The run up is horrendous and a slog and when I actually get TO the boss. I do next to no damage to him with any of my weapons and he knocks me down in two hits. I can't seem to get any roll timings down because whenever I roll his sword just follows me and knocks me out mid roll. This fight is driving me actually crazy. I'm SL 169, I swear to god this boss shouldn't be that hard. [link] [comments] |

EDIT: just incase you want this info, i use like plus 8 red stone twin blade i think it's called and use mostly the vengarl gear with the dranglic mail and have most points in health for some reason and feel i lack stamina [link] [comments] |
