Weekly General Discussion Thread (January 15, 2021) Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:00 AM PST Welcome to the weekly general discussion thread! This thread is for the community to discuss whatever is on their mind (whether it is Dark Souls 1 related or not). Have a question that you've been meaning to ask but haven't gotten around to making a post yet? Something on your mind you want to discuss? Playing a game that you think others would like? Comment away! All we ask is that you are respectful of each other, and have fun! [link] [comments] |
To that kid that I helped with Artorias Posted: 15 Jan 2021 03:08 PM PST Kudos. You kept summoning me. Ya kept dying... but ya kept after it! We eventually did it. Username was like Yoshi something. Congrats. Happy to have helped you. Judging by the the spinning around you were pretty stoked lol You had to have burned through 8 humanity at least lol [link] [comments] |
Anyone else feel like the community neglects the "cuteness" of Dark Souls? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 06:30 AM PST I've seen a few examples, but not as many as I'd expect. I think a lot of people fantasize about enemies in the game being BAMFs, but very rarely do I see a cuter, maybe more melancholic interpretation. Like, don't you think Capra Demon likes to play with his dogs? Maybe Ornnstien and Smough have tea parties with Gwynevere on the weekends? The Anor Londo Sentinels don't attack you unless provoked, maybe behind that armour, they're just gentle dudes, sad that they have to carry out such barbaric order. What do all the Serpent-Men do when we're away, are there tabletop games in Lordran? And what of the Firelink Shrine! I'd love to hear or see some more ideas or examples of when people actually *do* try this out! Definitely a strange, but I think intended way to feel the vitality of this game world. EDIT: Wowzers, some of you guys really underappreciate the lengths of effort Dark Souls goes to insert nuance into its world. Maybe time for another playthrough guys? I promise you it's not all bleak all the time if you're looking critically. [link] [comments] |
Whoever invaded me in Anor Lando on the Xbox one remaster, thank you. Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:24 PM PST I was stressing thinking I was about to get my ass whooped on my way to a boss fight but when you finally found me hiding you just gave me an item, let me give you an item in return, and left back to your world. I just found out I got cheated on and that small gesture reminded me there is still good in this world. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Jan 2021 03:50 PM PST Just wanted to say that, fuck the Bed of Chaos stupid piece of shit boss From now on I'll try the trick with the fire bombs [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:08 AM PST Just have to say I love that every time somebody summons me for Quelaag I can hear them ring the bell by the time I return. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:03 PM PST Just finished my first play through and oh boy. Walked up to Gwyn's fog wall for the first time and saw "try parry". Thought I'd give it a shot, though I don't really parry that much at all. I cross the fog and next thing I know, this old man just lunges at me and BAM. Parry into an absolute walloping with the Black Knight Greatsword. I was off my seat. I called Gwyn a virgin. A dork. And after I roughed him up for his lunch money, I pointed down and linked the fire. On to New Game+! [link] [comments] |
Dark Souls tip I just thought of: Never farm something if it can kick your ass. Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:59 PM PST There goes my 80,000 souls, damned new princess chamber giant fucks >:( [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:05 AM PST What made it click for me finally was the weapons I chose. Rocked a halberd, eventually getting the Dragonslayer Spear, and doubled with Pyromancy / Great Shield for some up close burnathon sessions. Quelana of Izalith - MVP for providing dope Pyro's in the swamp. No prob killing your mom, sorry about your sisters... Also, I definitely used my first Fire Keeper Soul to get souls instead of upgrade my Estus Flask. But I guess I accidently did Pinwheel too early and got extra Estus, so it evened out? Screw Crystal Cave. On to NG+! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Jan 2021 11:43 PM PST I'm currently just after the O&S fight and i have to say BOY what a wall, but this difficulty keeps me going strong. [link] [comments] |
Why can't I use online play items in certain areas? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:09 PM PST |
Someone please help I have been farming for hours. Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:45 AM PST I was working on a new build to take a break from SL1 run (currently stuck at smough and orn) and I have three different weapons I want for it, moonlight great sword (which I can get easily) and the other two. Holy shaft I am literally dying because I can't get these two. (I'm doing a Dex/Int Build) I am trying to get a Painting guardians sword, and a Balder side sword, and if you don't know, those are 2% and 1% drop rates respectively. If anyone on switch is willing to spare either of these, I will give you all my soul items and a slab for your troubles please for the love of god end my suffering please. [link] [comments] |
Instant omega heavy soul arrow? Posted: 16 Jan 2021 04:03 AM PST So earlier in Oocatiel I was invaded by a dude. So I ran back to the bonfire to meet and pvp with them, but when I arrived they started shooting these soul arrow looking things like basically instantly and they dealt a third of my health. Is that real? Do they exist? I killed him anyway lol zwei op [link] [comments] |
Finished the three souls, my report (and my thanks) Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:54 AM PST Hi all, The community in dark souls has been a source of joy, so only fitting I throw my 2 cents in. A big thank you to all the souls who I summoned, summoned me, and to the writers of all the "what is the best..." threads out there. Loved getting my analysis on. I played all these on PC for reference. I wanted to try dark souls but the remastered copy on steam was always around $60 bucks which didn't do it for me. I found a $25 copy going on GOG, and so away we went! My most unforgiving game experience to date had been various Monster Hunters. I can say now that DS is harder and a tragic sort of fun, though at least you fail fast. DS1 (Remastered) (65 hrs, 1 1/2 playthroughs) You never forget your first I suppose, and that goes for this game for sure. I think I was so shit scared in some spots I ended up relying on a how to guide for where I was going to get fucked up next. Definitely not the right way to play the game, and an error I rectified in the next 2 games. - Best world, best stakes - Praise the sun! - Lackluster 2nd half, but the first half has so much replay value and shenanigans it's a solid go to - Magic is good, no FP nonsense like in DS3 - Screw tomb off the giants and those splooting skeleton doggos. - I got the baller swag sword on the first Balder Knight I fought. It nursed me through the rest of the game and I couldn't be happier. Dexterity build playthrough. No dodging because I have a shield obviously. At least until I hit Sif. - Nothing has exasperated me more in living memory then the Bell Gargoyles. I fumed off into the Darkwood Garden/Basin, leveled, read up and came back to take them down by the skin of my neck. All to find out I could have summoned Solaire. Misery. Or is this joy? - Did a second playthrough with an overpowered magician that abused the master key early on. It's not even funny how much faster you burn through the game each subsequent play since you've rehearsed all the failures to a point of finesse and abused the interconnected world. Thats half the fun though. DS2 (SOTFS) (46 hours) I rolled straight into this with some sweet sweet steam sales. As someone whose a sucker for plot, this let me down. No stakes at all, just learning about the world which is kinda fun. I did think the literal game world was more interesting than DS1 though. The variety was great. Heides tower of flame is a vibe. - Fashion souls and early elite knight armor is good. Another dexterity build playthrough, even though I told myself I'd do something different. I longed for the BSS but ended up with the Longsword for the whole playthrough. I did miss my thrusting though. Late game I discovered there is a different moveset for weapons when you 2 hand it. Thrusting is back baby! - Happy souls was hummed profusely. Instead of walkthroughs, I just referenced the right zone to get to next. In hindsight I'd recommend not basing this on the timestamped sections of the happy souls video. Or do it. - why did they bother with the health hollowing mechanic? For your common joe like me it just means I'll waste a ring slot to negate it once I can. - I didn't mind all the bosses though some were lackluster. I did well with all the bosses except the Pursuer, I just couldn't get him good for the longest time. I also struggled for an unreasonble amount of time on the hill of the giants early area. - this game felt like it took forever. As a side effect I found it very easy to over level. - screw the iron keep and the NPC invaders at the first bonfire. I lured you all into the lava and I'll do it again if I ever get tempted with a replay. DS3 (38 hours) - Better than DS2, more fluid than DS1, and graphics are gorgeous. - Plot is a step down from DS1 but to be expected from a sequel. The world was more in the same vein as DS1 but I did miss the DS2 happiness. To be expected though, as the fire fades yada yada. - Fewer but probably overall the best bosses of the series. Deacons of the deep is solid vibes. - I got the sunlight talisman and promptly did vorgt 30 times to farm sunlight charms and praise the sun with others in jolly cooperation throughout the game. Found out I couldn't even cash them in until the end of the game. Sadness. There goes the faith build. Strength it is. I fumbled a little between the Great Machete and axes until settling on the Claymore after some light research. Glad with my choice. I did miss my dexterity build since I relied on my bow quite heavily for dealing with problems, but at the end of the day that didn't stop me luring at least. - Overcapitalized in vitality way too much and was so fragile. Thank goodness for Rosaria and re-skilling. After a rebalance things went well. Vigor before vitality folks. - I tried so hard to get the elite knight armor but couldn't make heads or tails of Anri's quest. I must have revisited the catacombs a million times. Sadness. - At this point PVP invaders didn't actually trouble me too much compared to DS1 and DS2. I credit this to the strength build. I feel like I just hit harder and perhaps poised through to the end of things. --------------- Overall, DS1 > DS3 > DS2. It is tight between 2 and 3 though. If 2 had the plot of 3, a master key, was a smidge shorter, swapped some levels and ditched some of the mechanics I think we'd have the best of all three. So whats next you ask? DS1, killing Solaire and Lautrec for fashion souls and the faith build I swear I'll play at some stage, then probably rushing the second half. Thanks for following my rambling. Carry on. Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:49 AM PST This is my first playthrough of the game, there was me getting my ass kicked by moonlight butterfly and seeing everyone else saying it was easy and I'm losing hope about whether I'll be able to complete this game if I can't beat an easy boss. Then I'm seeing that a lot of people hate Capra Demon and find him tricky and I just beat him first time without any trouble! Lady luck smiled upon me and my faith is renewed! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:49 AM PST I'm level 304 and I've put summon signs practically at every major boss and still no one has summoned me [link] [comments] |
I beat seath but didnt get the moonlight sword would anyone be willing to trade Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:26 PM PST I'm doing a sorcerer build and couldn't cut the tail off someone please help me [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:43 PM PST I'm thinking of getting into dark souls because from what I've heard it's a very challenging and satisfying game. I'm thinking of getting DS1 and DS3 but I don't think I will be able to getting DS2 as I want to spend my spare money on other games like Sekiro. So I'm asking whether missing out DS2 would hinder my enjoyment for DS3. Will I miss anything significant or will I be fine for the most part ? This flair sucks btw. [link] [comments] |
Need some help with Gwyn (SL82, PTD PC Edition) Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:47 AM PST Really struggling with Gwyn, I'd just like to best him to get to NG+. Would anyone mind popping by and helping me kill the old fool? I'm at soul level 82 and I'm playing the prepare to die edition on PC. Many thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |

Here the Soulsborne Joint Lore: would love to discuss my brief essay with you people! Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:25 PM PST 0. My Claim 0.1 Nyarlatotep, an outer god from H.P. Lovecraft's Pantheon is by nature a perfect villain to introduce in whatever story, it has infinite shapes or names, and it seems to be generally legally accepted to introduce it one story without breaking any copyright. The variable shapes and names it has however allow any author to also utilise it in a subtle way, see Death stranding with Higgs, Doctor who with the Master, The Lord of Rings With Sauron, and Berserk with the Idea of Evil. 0.2 The Soulsborne series describe how Nyarlathotep became (as it is described in "The Dream-Quest of the Unknown Kadath") "The messenger, heart and soul" of Azhatoth, the trinity with which it is often referred. CHAPTER I: THE SOUL 1. The Old One 1.1 It is generally accepted the Old One to be Inspired by Azathoth from the universe created by H.P Lovecraft. Both the creatures are involved in some kind of genesis, then a peaceful slumber and an awakening which result in the destruction of what they created. During their slumber both are kept asleep by some demoniac creatures which are afraid of the consequences of the awakening. 1.2 A god called Nyarlathotep is particularly bound to the nature of Azathoth, as it is at the same time its messenger, heart and soul. 1.3 As Lovecraft wrote a small story which was titled under the soul of Azathoth "Nyarlathotep". In a similar way, Miyazaki introduce this entity in the game Demon's Souls. 2. The Demons
2.1 The characteristic that distinguishes demons from humans is not made explicit in Demon Souls and also we know human can become demons too, yet demons have exclusive powers like the great quantity of souls and the ability to absorb the souls of others.
2.2 While our hero can absorb a great quantity of souls staying human (we are referred as human till before the bad ending epilogue), the real transformation occur only when the former slayer of demons enter in contact with the soul of the Old One.
2.3 It is possible all the demons where humans before entering each in contact with the soul of the Old One to get their part of the demon's souls. The source of all the demons indeed is said to be the Old One and both our hero and Allant XII become demons in its core by receiving part of the demon's souls as Allant XII suggest in the dialogue above. 3. Assimilation of the Souls
3.1 From the line by the Maiden in Black it seems there are several level of ownership towards a souls, we can carry them with us in "solid" (soul as item) or "liquid" (souls as value) form, or make them become part of us (levels) trough the use of a demon soul.
3.2 The crestfallen warrior suggest the process of acquisition is more than a transition matter, the new souls get integrated in one organism in an organic way. The soul embolden the "flesh and blood" as any kind of nourishment would do transported trough the circulatory system. 4. Everlasting Souls and fleeting bodies
4.1 According to the idea of metempsicosi a soul move from body to body every life cycle, that is what happen in the Soulsborne series (as in the Dark Souls trilogy) where we meet similar characters with different appearances.
4.2 If a demon is capable to assimilate souls as nourishment for its body {3.2} then a great amount of souls can slowly solidify in a demon "flesh and blood" making of the demon a corporeal manifestation of the everlasting souls. As we will discuss later {11.1} denser souls allow us to recover HP, which mean that a body made by solidified souls (and then solidified life) would result virtually immortal. 5. The Will of the Old One (1)
5.1 We don't have to forget that souls are not only synonymous of life but also of thought. This means that as many souls are accumulated by a creature, the more its mind would become alike the mind of the Old One (as it is the source of clarity), which is the reason for the demons to be faithful servants. We will refer to this phenomenon shared subconscious as "The Will of the Old One". CHAPTER II: THE HEART [In the following text it is implicit that the following phenomena are close to each other if not the same thing: Dark Soul, abyss, Humanity, darkness]
6. The Metamorphosis
6.1 Whoever tried to draw a line between Demon and Dark Souls will surely be familiar with their exceptional compatibility. Dark souls seems to happen in the same barren land left by the Old One and his demons, which by the time have reached a mature form known to us as archdragons. 6.2 We know for sure that humans can transcend their nature to become demons {2.1}, and demons can absorb a great amount of souls to reach a "mature form" {4.2}. As before we mentioned the process of assimilation and solidification of the souls as nourishment {3.2}, we can consider the archdragons' scales as the maximum level of solidification of the souls which make them creatures which exist beyond the concept of life.
6.3 As the archdragons and any form of the dark soul stem wood-like material, it is possible that the final form of a human is actually the Old One and that the dragon is only another stage. intuition point: This idea of dragons as still immature creatures, nicely fit with the depiction of bird fetuses which lay on the top of trees in the final scene of "The Angel Egg" movie that inspired the character of Filianore in Dark Souls III. 7. The Old One, the Boletarians and the Souls
7.1 If the demons transformed in archdragons over feasting on human souls, the Old One, as a phoenix at the end of his life cycle, explode in a fire of life, from which the Boletarians' lifeless vessels, at different levels of decomposition (see Nito, the First of the Death) draw back their lives. 7.2 While the three lords found minor souls still not assimilated by the Old One, the Furtive Pigmy found its core, a soul which is between the realm of soul and the one of matter, the Dark Soul. 8. The Plot Repeats
Demon and Dark Souls not only share a similar aesthetic and gameplay, but even very similar plots: A beast (The Old One/Manus) stemming (mist/dark) and generating, by sharing its soul {2.3}, (demons/humans), get neutralised and imprisoned underground (Under the Nexus/in a cave) by a flourishing civilisation (Boletaria/Oolacile). The civilisation uses the power of the beast to develop (soul arts/Oolacile's sorceries) till when the lust for power of (King Allant XII/ Gwyn) brought to the awakening of the beast which resumed the stem of (mist/dark) and (demons/humans) who naturally seek to assimilate souls.
In order to repair to the new (demon/humanity) scourge, the enemy (the Old One/Dark Soul) get imprisoned by (Nexus/Dark Sign) using holy circular and caduceus-like symbols. Finally to fight this danger a hero is awaited, he is assisted by (the Maiden in Black/The fire keepers) who thanks to the use of the (demon soul/Dark Soul), is/are able to convey the souls in his body strength {3.1}. Intuition Point: The use of helicoidal (or caduceus) weapons to stop a creature from destroying the world, as it happen with the the iron symbols that limit the powers of the Old One and the Bed of Chaos stopping in both the cases the flames to spread, remember the way humans in Evangelion try to avoid the second impact using the Spear of Longinus. 9. Humans and Darkness
9.1 As humans and demons have in both games the role to seek and assimilate souls, as the demons, humans can use their dark soul to transform in archdragons, transcending life. However this is prevented by the dark sign.
9.2 As the demon's souls {2.3} the fragments of the Dark Soul are likely to have been shared among normal Oolacilians transforming them in what we know as humans.
9.3 The dark soul fragment which is characteristic of each human is located where there should be the heart as it is possible to observe on our PC. Further more the Idea of Evil make a quite compelling description of itself which reminds us the Dark Soul. 10. Flammable Souls 10.1 In Dark Souls one of the more iconic characteristic of the souls start getting defined and it is the flammability of this gas-like matter, which present itself, at least when in considerable quantities as a flame. 10.2 As the demon's souls are made of an amalgamation of souls {2.2} even humanities are, so that its important to notice how the flammability property is present in Dark Souls prologue (the burning dark soul) and the practice of the Rite of Fire. Further more human bodies are used as combustible in bonfires. 11. Density of Souls
11.1 The concept of density of souls seems to be tightly related to the process of HP recovering, the souls that in gas state can only prove useful by assimilation (levelling for our PC), when solid as lifegems, grant us HP; the estus according to the fire keeper soul, increase its power according to how dense it is, and the humanities, exceptionally dense souls, grant an even greater amount of HP when destroyed. The limit example are the scales of dragons which effects we can observe only in the artificial regeneration of Seath the Scaleless when his crystal is still unbroken. 11.2 A special analysis is due to the behaviour of the bonfires that grant us 5 more estus for each humanity we burn in it, which suggest the estus to be filled with a fraction of a burning humanity, which translate in dense amalgamation of souls {10.2}. 12. The Will of the Old One (2) Sorcery of Manus, Father of the Abyss. Grant a fleeting will to the Dark of humanity, and volley the result. The will feels envy, or perhaps love, and despite the inevitably trite and tragic ending, the will sees no alternative, and is driven madly toward its target. -Pursues- Dark Souls
12.1 As the demon's souls {5} even the Dark Souls represent the "Will of the Old One". dark sorceries have eyes, they seek and drain souls (in form of HP) at contact (both in form of DLC enemies and dark sorceries), so that they liberate them (still in form of HP) when destroyed (conversion from solid to liquid humanity). 12.2 Even a physical manifestation of the Old One seems to be bound to the humanity, as the more the fire get weak toward Dark Souls II and then III, the more we find how humanities tend to grow wood-like material
12.3 In Dark Souls II we find a dialogue which remind us of the Old One : the "little ones" can be considered humanities, as the product of the Old One death. The idea of a creature who sing to keep amused something remind us exactly the Inspiration for the Old One Azathoth {1.1}. 13. Oxygen Souls (and dark souls) seems to act pretty much as the oxygen in physics. It is a gas, It is inflammable {11}, it nourish our flesh and blood {3.2}, It grant clarity to the brain (clarity), and more in general it is known how an enrichment of oxygen in our blood reinvigorate us and make us stronger {3.1}. 14. Dark Souls
14.1 Considering the position of the dark soul on the heart, the ability of it to convert souls, which behave as oxygen, in one strength and its suitability as surrogate of the dried blood we can assume the dark soul to be the heart of a circulatory system where the blood is mixed with darkness as concentration of souls. The dark souls then represent both the heart and a component of humans blood, or in other words it is bloodborne. 14.2 To prove such a relation dark soul and blood, I have listed here some evidences, this list may be improved as other come to mind:
14.3 The description I just gave of the dark souls is again very similar to the one we have of Idea of Evil in Berserk as its core is represented as giant heart pumping in and out the souls of all the humans. Being it the "darkness that dwells in every human heart" {} it is highly possible for the Idea of Evil to be the inspiration for the dark souls. Intuition point: The inspiration Miyazaki take from the Idea of Evil is totally coherent with the identification of the dark souls with Nyarlathotep as the Idea of Evil itself is presented as heart and soul, two of the incarnation of Nyarlathotep, further more the caduceus formed by the lower part of its body is widely used in the Soulsborne series and is the distinctive symbol of the god Mercury, one of the manifestations of Nyarlathotep. CHAPTER III: The Messenger
15. Bloodborne Souls
15.1 According to what discussed so far, the assimilation of the Dark Soul (and then the souls in general) in the blood, is not an episodic event delimited by the DLC The Ringed City but it follow a slow and steady path that start from Dark Souls (if not Demon's Souls) till Dark Souls III generating as final outcome the world of Bloodborne. We have as examples the Abyss Watchers and the many other red eyed humans in the game. The Boreal Valley knights seem to get transformed from the sight of Sullivan eyes, however the eye is another symbol connected to darkness. 15.3 Here some mention worth elements which have changed from souls to blood during the passage from Dark Souls to Bloodborne and that confirm our previous theories:
16. Eclipse. 16.1 In the ending of Dark Souls III Miyazaki more than ever heavily draw from the manga Berseker, in particular from the highest climax of the story, the eclipse: The episode feature the rebirth of the human Griffith in Femto, one of the divinity that constitute the "God Hand". For the ritual all his friends and followers get scarified to be eaten by hundreds of locust-like demons in a great feast, while their spilled blood materialise in the god new body. 16.2 In Dark Souls III DLC The Ringed City at the end of the age of fire we find the Locust Preacher annunciating the coming of the dark and the feast over human flesh, this probably refers to the human sacrifices that are meant to happen after the Usurpation of Fire ending, which also feature an eclipse. 16.3 The position of Flora in the concept art is a clear reference of Griffith's transformation, and as in Berserk the sacrificed bodies surround their former leader. The servants of the Dark Lord get dried of their blood becoming the small dry creatures we know as Messenger which are crawling on its body. Intuition point: As the God Hand enact the ritual for the rebirth of Griffith, we find them as reference behind the concept of Rosaria God of Rebirth who is served by her "fingers" on the same line of the hand metaphor, where each of the 5 creature represent one of the fingers of God. 17. Flora 17.1 Dark Souls and Bloodborne references on Berserk are complementary, Dark Souls indeed introduce the eclipse and the human flesh feast, while from there, Bloodborne continue with Flora's concept art, similar to Femto transformation, and many other similarities:
17.2 What discussed so far demonstrate how the Dark Lord has collected enough souls to transcend the status of human being and even dragon to become god, yet it seems incomplete as it lack the wings present in the concept art and has a open cast showing the ribs, symbol in dark souls of avarice. For this reason Floora needs the hunters to recover any source of blood which later the god will try to consume 17.3 At this point we can recognise a pattern among the 3 IP, where in the canonic ending the PC transcend the human nature: in Demon's Souls we become demons, while in Dark Souls III and Bloodborne we get to be reborn as celestial creatures. 18. Fire Keepers
18.1 According to the Soulsborne timeline the first fire keeper is supposed to be the Maiden in Black. As we consider the canonic ending of Demon's Souls to be the one in which we stab her, while we still have a free choice at the end of Dark Souls III to attack or not the fire keeper it is possible the scenes of betrayal refer to the events of Demon's Souls.
18.2 In Bloodborne the Plain Doll possess what look like the soul of a fire keeper trapped inside what is called tearstone something composed of a tear and blood. in Berserk during its transformation Griffith shed his last tear, which present a similar radial pattern. This tear could be generated during the transformation of the dark lord in Flora or maybe is a product of the last fire keeper death, who shed her last tear from the eyes she borrow from the Maiden in Black. Tear
18.3 It is possible Flora used Gherman's doll giving her life with the tiarstone containing the fire keeper soul so that she can manage to empower the hunter with the blood echoes. This would explain at once how the doll is alive and her voice actress to be the same of the Maiden in Black. 19. The Plot Repeats (2) 19.1 The plot of Bloodborne follow the previous IPs {8}, the souls (now bloodborne {15.1}), which have source from a god associate with the Sun (Gwyn/Ebrietas), are haunted by the (demons/humans/hunters) under the guidance of (the Old One/Manus/Flora) a god associated with the Moon, who recruit servants, by sharing their own (Demon's souls/Dark Soul/blood, trough the blood ministration). The (Demons/humans/hunters) hunt down a great quantity of souls and convert them in strength trough the help of (the Demon's Souls/the fire keeper/the doll). This concentrated (demon's souls/souls/blood echoes) is desired of the game main villain who expect to retrieve and/or use them for its ambitions. 19.2 As humans and hunters are born trough the contact with respectively the Dark Soul and the blood of Flora, by analogy we can now confirm a demon become such trough the Old One sharing with him his own souls {2.2}. 20. The Will of the Old One (3)
20.1 The the blood echoes are probably associated with the "fleeting will" that we call Will of the Old One {5,13} 21.2 Once completed the assimilation of all the echoes Flora will be fulfilled in its form and will represent the conscience of the ancients, it will become in other words the messenger of the Old One. 21. Conclusions 21.1 The transformation of the Dark Lord in Flora represent the last step for the god to complete Nyarlathotep's trinity. The Demon's Soul started a metamorphosis of its state from gas (soul) to liquid (blood-heart) till solid (body-messenger) contextualising the trinity paradox.

Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:55 PM PST I was running through the depths on my switch and when I was on my back from the boss fight to firelink the camera suddenly got close to my character like my back was up against a wall (I wasn't by a wall) and the speed of the game noticeably increased. The enemies were moving faster, my attacks were faster, the parry animation speed was godlike. It reverted back to normal when I got to lower undead burg. Has anybody had this happen before?
