- So my dad and I are replaying all of the Dark Souls games and Bloodborne.
- Here is my paper on the music of the Dark Souls series!
- 1st tried belfry gargoyles, 2nd tried red smelter demon, Velstadt, and Throne Watcher and defender but proceed to die over and over again to the dukes dear freja, royal rat authority, Nashandra, and Aldia.

| Here is my paper on the music of the Dark Souls series! Posted: 07 Jan 2021 06:14 PM PST Hey everyone, as promised, here is my paper. Now, I must preface this by saying that this is version of my paper that I turned in last month for a grade (passed with flying colors in case you're wondering). What this means is that for the sake of conciseness, I did not include anything about Dark Souls 2. But worry not, Bearers of the Curse. I am updating this paper with DS2 analysis and information soon, with the help of a buddy who is admittedly much more informed about the music and lore of DS2 than I am. I just wanted share this with you all since there seemed to be a lot of enthusiasm for it. Please, any and all feedback and thoughts are welcome. I and my aforementioned buddy are considering making a YouTube series talking about Dark Souls music, so I welcome any ideas for music topics you'd be interested in hearing about! But I proceed to Struggle with The duke's dear freja, royal dog authority, Nashandra, and Aldia Who are Considered some of the EASIEST bosses in the game. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 08 Jan 2021 01:09 PM PST Like many of you, I have undertaken the task of unlocking all achievements across the whole DS line and am currently on DS2:SOTFS. When I began, my girlfriend would scoff at the idea of video games. "Why do adults play video games?" type of stuff. Fast-forward to last night as I'm trying (for probably the 7th time) to kill Aava, my girlfriend is sitting next to me and cheering me on. I thought it was kinda funny to think that normally people are turned on to video games through something more accessible like Mario Kart, but this girl now says "goodnight sweet prince!" every time I kill a boss or asks when we get to fight "that little dragon bitch" again (Ancient Dragon). She's gonna love DS3. Just felt like sharing. [link] [comments] |

So as you know, in order to get the trophies for all pyromancies/spells/hexes, you need some boss souls. Issue is I used some of them for souls instead of transmitting them for spells. Will I need to start a new character in order to get all the spells, or can boss spells be found in-game in NG+? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

It always says "Calibration acquisition is currently restricted, retry or try again in 1 hour". I've done everything I can think of and nothing fixes it. Please help me? [link] [comments] |
| Any weapon recommendations for an "estrogen" build? Posted: 08 Jan 2021 12:25 PM PST Please do not get offended by the name of the build. It's basically the opposite of a "testosterone" build. Basically these builds consist of somehow connecting the male and female stereotypes and putting them into builds by sheer association. For example: STR, lightning, vit = Testosterone build Pyro, dex, faith = Estrogen build No offense. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 08 Jan 2021 12:39 AM PST So hey I'm finally near the end of my long and mildly frustrating journey in drangleic, I just have to fight nashandra and we can wrap this Ng up. I'm currently soul level 157 (or higher I don't really remember) and I'd like to farm the giant lord quite a bit in order to embark on my "punitive mission" (basically before fighting nashandra I just want to go to all the places that gave me trouble and fucking explode the shit out of them). That said I don't know if a melee build is the best way to farm the lord when it gets at higher bonfire levels. I have two soul vessels so I can change my build in order to have an easier time and, most importantly, try out a different playstyle for once. Can you suggest a cool magic/hexes burst damage build that would be effective? Just keep in mind I'm playing vanilla without dlcs on PS3 and I popped some bosses souls at earlier levels [link] [comments] |

Posted: 08 Jan 2021 01:52 AM PST since I read that prowling magus doesnt count to his questline, and i couldnt find his sign for freja, would just using bonfire ascetic to fight mirror knight twice and then giant lord count to 3 fights and finish this stage of his questline? | How do I make multiple save files? Posted: 08 Jan 2021 04:48 AM PST So for the record, all I actually want is just to have more than 10 character slots. I'm goofing around with silly semi-challenge runs like "bow only", "miracle only", "poison only", etc. I've already got a bunch of slots taken up with dueling and high-level characters, and I'd rather not delete them if I can avoid it. I see people saying you can have an additional save file to have more characters, but I can't find any tutorials on the subject. Anyone have a how-to they could direct me to? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 Jan 2021 05:31 PM PST So I've started DS2 and I'm really struggling. The thing is I finished DS1 without much trouble to the point where I can maybe say that it wasn't even that hard to me. DS2 is entirely different story. I'm just so slow to react. It's like I time it right but my character reacts so slowly to the point that it's impossible to dodge anything or hit enemies before they hit you. Also, shields I had so far reduce damage but you still lose health when hit even when using shield. So I can't dodge and I can't shield... My progress is really slow, I lit few bonefires in 3 hours of play and I've already died many times, used human effigy and now I have to get serious. Any tips? Is there something I'm missing?
