| Posted: 11 Aug 2020 11:09 AM PDT If you power stance say a curved sword and a rapier such that your L1/2 moveset is slashing like a curved sword, will the rapier still do thrust damage? Or will it do slash damage because you're no longer thrusting with it? [link] [comments] |

Is my play through taking to long. Don't care if it is, I've just seen some people saying it took them less to complete the game and I'm not sure what I've done wrong about from getting a bit stuck on Smelter Demon and doing the first bit of the game under covenant of champions. I couldn't tell you how painful and tedious the journey was to fight 'ol Fumie again after every time I died. And I felt really stupid. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 11 Aug 2020 08:06 AM PDT So I started a new play through to try a new build. I'm in FoG, haven't cleared Giant, just barely got Fire Longsword. Before I can leave to upgrade I get invaded (Yeah big shock) only I notice this guy is decked out, way too much to be prowling around the Forest. He's got ring of red eye, late game armor, an infused sword, meanwhile I'm rocking Tseldora and my teeny weeny tickle staff. Surprise surprise, he makes quick work of me, but I'm pissed. How is this guys soul memory not out of my bracket and why is he picking on noobs to begin with? So I shoot him a message and as it turns out he's just trying to help my dropping items for new players, just obviously going about it wrong. I told him it would help if he unequipped his gear or wore the White Ring to give the appearance that he was friendly, especially in early areas where it won't kill you to run around light and new players are wary of anyone invading them lol. So it got me thinking, is there any other Dark souls etiquette you guys wish you saw more of as players interacting with other players? | Help with SM management, PVP and NG+ Posted: 11 Aug 2020 10:03 AM PDT Hi guys, i'm on my first playthrough, really enjoying it so far. I'm at 159 SL and 4 mil SM, recently been doing some casual PVP and getting fights very frequently at this tier. ATM i'm near the endgame, doing DLC first, and thinking about doing NG+ to replay the game and enjoy my late game gear a bit more. How different is NG+? are you expected to keep leveling up or can you cap your lvl below 170ish? i've burned some ascetic (i'm guessing it's similar?) and managed well but don't want it to get tedious. Also don't wanna get to the point of having 60 in every stat. I like the SM tier i'm at rn for PVP so should i use agape for NG+ or is it just better to create a new character for PVP? or maybe sm tiers are not that different at this point and i'm just overthinking it? | Posted: 11 Aug 2020 06:10 AM PDT So I wanted to make anew char to play through ng and ng+ (possibly even ng++) but I ran out of ideas for builds. Each ng I wanted to switch builds but as I said before-I ran out of ideas. So I ask you DS2 players of reddit: What build do you reccomend? I already did STR, DEX, Hexes, Quality build and a Fire Cleric (pyromancy with miracles). Just type the name of a build and a short (or long) description to just say what it is. Thanks! | Which DEX weapons overall are worth investing in? Posted: 11 Aug 2020 08:46 AM PDT First time playing, coming from DSR and Sekiro. I think I'm still in the early-mid game (beaten the Last Giant, Pursuer, Flexile Sentry and Skeleton Lords). I've got 17 STR and 21 DEX knight going for a dex build. Which weapons do you guys recommend upgrading? And which ones are considered bad that I should just avoid? Currently I'm enjoying using a Winged Spear +4, also have a backup Varangian Sword +4 and Uchigatana +3. I tried the Flamberge but i dont like how slow it is. [link] [comments] |
