| Old dragonslayer is just an armor Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:17 AM PDT So I was just fighting this dude and when I hit him the effect is the same as the old knights, to my knowledge this blue effect is because the old knight/old dragonslayer aren't real people but armors enchanted to defend/fight. What do you think? Edit: dont mind me Im just fucking stupid, the blue effect was because I had aromática ooze, in my defense I never use that resin :v sooo yeah theory debunked [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 15 Jun 2020 07:20 PM PDT https://i.imgur.com/AT3AcJp.jpg So far I have beaten every souls game except for Demon's Souls and I platinumed Sekiro. I was very hesitant to play DS2 because everyone always said that it wasn't as good as the other games and it's too long, etc. I have to apologize for ever listening to what those people said. Yes some parts of the game are tough and maybe unfair, but once you get to the late part of the game and of course the DLC's, you start to really appreciate it. I have always wanted to fight the Fume Knight because the sword has always been so cool looking. I heard it was a challenging fight, but I knew I would be able to beat it considering I've beaten just about every other from software boss. That fight was definitely in my top 5. Not for challenge, but just how awesome of a fight it was. I am so happy I decided to come back to DS2! I still need to beat Sir Alonne and the next DLC. I can't wait to finish it. It seems that, for better or worse, the Bearer of the Curse has managed to put the living manifestation of an eating disorder to rest. Posted: 16 Jun 2020 01:15 PM PDT I was trying to beat armorer dennis to no avail cause I guess my level is low?so I don't do much damage to him with the mace or axe,especially that I try to break his shield guard with the stick+R1 but that rarely works on him for some reason. I was about ready to give up and come back later when I'm more powerful,when suddenly the item description for the mail breaker lit up like the brightest light bulb in my brain,and I was like Imma try it. this time though?I got invaded by someone other than dennis,MY FIRST HUMAN INVADER :D how exciting. insanity insues,and I can't believe I defeated them both,I had no healing items for dennis and my health was extremely low! god bless using the environment(the pillars) and god bless EVERYTHING about the mail breaker. I try my best I have a really cheap controller ( tracer recon 8 euró lol) i just finished the ds1 and i want to jump to ds2 but my controller fuck me up. First time the controller right stick just work like a dpad. I cant controll the camera whit the controller. I just start google the problem. I tryed everything, i disable all other HID device, every driver updated, dowloaded the xbox360ce and configurate like in the gudeise. The problem is if the 360ce in my game folder, the game dont recognize my controller, if i delete it the controller work in a bad way (zero camera controll). The 360ce see my controller. One of the things that keeps me playing is this amazingly-designed armor set that actually looks like legitimate samurai armor, instead of the odd Eastern armor we get in DS1 & DS3. Why they didn't include it in the third game is beyond me. *Shrug gesture* Pair the set with a composite bow on your back and two-hand a katana of your choice (plus the imported hood, which is my nitpick over the fencing-style helm), and you get some serious fashion souls. And the icing on the cake (At least looks wise, in my opinion)? The Bewitched Alonne Sword. This long-ass blade looks like it could have been used to swipe unsuspecting horseback riders off their steeds. I'm looking at you, Executioner. [link] [comments] |

| Joining the covenant of champions for farming? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 02:03 PM PDT I just finished dark souls 2 (DLC and all) and I don't want to start NG+ quite yet, there's a bunch of enemy gear I want to get for collections sake, I heard that if you join the covenant of champions the enemies don't despawn. Since I'm with my endgame character I was wondering if it was worth it to join that covenant and just farm the enemies that have the gear I want? Is it worth it or is the difficulty increase turn it into a drag? Any advice is helpful -^ [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 16 Jun 2020 12:57 PM PDT So, i've come to ask for guidance. The thing is: I have a character on Ds2, with over than 90+ hours and only one miracle left for the achievement. But, when i was going trough the Old Iron King DLC, i died , but i never got out of the loading screen after this. After 20+ minutes of waiting, i had to close the game, and now, everytime i try to load that character, i can't go past the loading screen. All of my other characters works just fine. This already happened with someone?? Is it possible to "save" my dear character?? Edit: It's on PC!! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 16 Jun 2020 02:00 AM PDT Interested in some tricks you all have learned for pvp, whether against weapons, build types, or player habits that you find to be important in your duels or invasions. I have a sword that will thrust after a roll, good for dodging magic and attacking or closing the gap to a distant opponent. Soul spear is great with my str/int build to hit someone at the end of a roll, attack animation, or while running to heal. I had a hard time against red iron twin blade, except when I successfully bait their combo, and can then attack at the end of their moveset while they are ending their last downward strike. Learning when to lock on and when to not helps when aiming a swinging attack to hit when they dodge away. Also, guard break is fantastic. If only I could parry in DS2... What about you?
