I was instantly overwhelmed by how cool it is to actually see other players' deaths by touching their bloodstains. Then I noticed something. There was an endless barrage of messages and bloodstains in the cave that leads to Majula. When I touched them, I say players with high-level gear dying, that too in groups. I don't see a reasonable explanation. There aren't any enemies, or traps, or environmental hazards. What's going on? P.S. I've joined the Blue Sentinels. Just an update. [link] [comments] |
| Beat Fume Knight on NG+ in 5 attempts Posted: 08 Jun 2020 11:15 AM PDT I only decided to "check the waters" and try out his enhanced version. Imagine my surprise when I took him to 30% HP the first time. Eventually I beat him and almost died when he had 1 hit due to greed 😅. I actually feel like it's a great achievement, taking in consideration that first time facing him took me 48 tries. Maaaan you can't imagine how I missed this feeling \[T]/ [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 08 Jun 2020 02:10 PM PDT Just today I defeated the likes of ancient dragon (toe strats), Darklurker (3x flameswath on transform then finish them up), the entire sunken crown (baiting sinh into the fireball attack and letting his head land on yours, the usual ganksquad strats explorer>graverobber>soldier). Tomorrow im gonna tackle the crown of the iron king dlc and the crown of the ivory king dlc. I didnt think it make it this far. Its been a rewarding the same as frustrating 35 hours so far (yeah I DO really suck in the end). The only bosses left that im really scared of now is blue smelter demon and lud n zallen. I've spend the 30 I had from yesterday, wrecking plebs, but now I'm SM 875k just from farming the whip, with only DR and Executioner chariot dead. Is the whip even real?! | The problem with magic in dark souls games Posted: 08 Jun 2020 02:30 PM PDT The main issue I seem to have is if you choose to be a mage in dark souls, you still have to have a melee weapon to cover you when you can't be a mage, or because you have to conserve your spells. It's not such an issue in late game, but in early game it's a huge setback. [link] [comments] |

| What is some good caster equipment? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 01:11 PM PDT I'm playing through DS2 as a caster this time. I beat it before with a STR build that flexed into a quality build. I got all of the achievements except the get all spells of each type. So I started a new play through as a priest and am going to get all the miracles. Turns out this was a bad choice, but I'm doing it! Any advice on sacred chimes, armor, weapons, or silly hats? I'm using a lightning mace +10 and the lightning priest/cleric chime+6 I think (not the starter one). I can't find anymore titanite chunks, but have 4 slabs. I'm specced to wear heavy armor but want to change that. Looking for some advice for caster gear! I just beat the Sacred Woods/Ruins and am going to the Brightstone cove or whatever it's called. I already did the gutter and black gulch, though I didn't fight the 2 giants by the ledge. I have all of the miracles that I can get so far except for the PVP covenant ones from the blue sentinels or heir of sun. I know I can wait to buy these in NG++ from Chancellor, but is there an easier way to get these in NG than lots of PVP? I've been sunbroing as often as possible but only have like 7 medals. Like that game changed me the things like studying which I despise became more easy to do. like when I studied a subject that was very hard I would try and try to learn it until I got the hang of it, same with physical work in my house and work. | How do I get to fight Nashandra? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 09:40 AM PDT I beat the Throne Watcher and Defender, but when I go into the room no cutscene starts and I can't get to Nashandra. Ive looked it up and in all of the others videos they just walk into the room and the boss fight begins, but I'm not sure how to. | Build help for quality/pyromancy Posted: 08 Jun 2020 09:12 AM PDT After doing build calculations, to get my desired stats late game, it would be the most efficient to go Bandit. I'm just wondering how much fire damage is actually increased? The default stats for int/faith are 1/8. Just wondering if EARLY game I should increase them to 10/10 then to 30/30.
