    What an amazing game

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 10:39 PM PDT

I've finally been able to complete DS2 after many years later after its release and it has been one fun and irritating ride, I tended to stay away from it since DS2 seemed to be the odd one out from it's two brothers and boy was it a mistake.

I absolutely love the story and scenery of this game, almost every new place took my breath away, and I just wanna say, Majula is the most beautiful place ever, when I first walked out that cave, I was blown away, the music, the skies, the ocean, it's all absolutely amazing, it feels like I can actually be at peace without having to worry about anything (other than those damn pigs that nearly killed me cause I was such a low level, who tf decided to put mobs in a safe area).

The adventure through this game was amazing even tho this game has been the most infuriating for me out of the Souls series, like seriously, THE BONFIRES ARE SO FUCKING FAR AWAY FROM THE BOSS FOGS THAT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN THERE WITHOUT TAKING DAMAGE, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed almost all the places that this game had to offer, cough cough except for Iron Keep, fuck those teenage mutant ninja turtle wannabe fucks that blocked every narrow gap and could poise through literally everything cough cough

Getting pummeled by that stupid fat ogre right outside of the Forest of Fallen Giants, actually fighting the Dragonrider legitimately cause I pulled all the levers and didn't cheese him at Heide's and fanboying over Ornstein, re-running No Man's Wharf over and over cause there's only one goddamn bonfire, getting lost in the Lost Bastille, traversing that poison pit of hell called Harvest Valley, traversing the ACTUAL pit of hell called Iron Keep, totally skipping Grave of Saints and falling down the pit to get to the Gutters with the silvercat ring, fuck Black Gulch and all those poison statues, getting backstabbed and cursed in the Shaded Woods, that sand hell hole of Brightstone Cove and that lying bird who was "just down the road", finally able to see Drangleic Castle and getting my ass handed to me from all those Ruin Sentinels (AND THEY FUCKING RESPAWN), being so scared of where I step in Shrine of Amana so I don't die and have to rerun everything again (and fuck those damn mages), trying to kill Vendrick in the Undead Crypt only to realize I only tickled him, going through the ogre harem in Aldia's Keep, seeing Dragon Aerie and totally not cheesing the Ancient Dragon, and finally to the Throne of Want just to get ganked, this game is absolutely amazing.

It's sad that there'll be no new souls games for who knows how long, this game series has been my absolute favorite, I still remember when I couldn't even get past the Undead Burg in DS1 to now where I could beat almost every single boss in 1-3 tries.

With the completion of Dark Souls 2, that ends the trilogy of Souls for me and I am happy that I was able to play this amazing franchise, if I could start over and do it all over again, I totally would without a single doubt.

I conclude my journey here for the Souls series, from one Souls veteran to another, I bid you all safe travels and good luck, and don't forget to PRAISE THE SUN.

Third time sculpting, so I decided to sculpt a bust of Lucatiel of Mirrah. It’s not very good but I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Today's run for the rings begins.

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 02:15 PM PDT

So I've had the rings before, but after a clean install I have a fresh character to run for a nd/nb run in ng+.

    The path I've chosen is:

    1. Heide's to Sinner, grabbing the bonfire ascetic in Straid's Tower. Sinner defeated.

    2. Huntsman's to Harvest Valley, for chloanne's bonfire ascetic.

    3. Down the hole, Gutter to Gulch. Beat the Rotten 3 times.

    4. Finishing up.

In ng+, the run will be Rotten x 4, then clean up.

My best time for nb/nd is approximately 8 hours and 20 minutes. Gonna blow that outta the water.

calling all pvpers, give me build ideas, if theyre fun ill make a lightnign prince style video but mostly im just lacking knowedge when it comes to the meta of this games

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 07:16 AM PDT

if i was to go off the ps4 arena alone, it would be kitana backstep running attack phantom spam, but we all know thats no fun, they can keep thier tacticts and auras gained by playing 24/7 tryna cuck people(ik because i cycle through games and then smoking a blunt while watching animes in my chair and when i come back theyre still online doin same shii

i started with ds3 and was a bit late to souls so i dont know whats good in ds2, i heard ring of blades flynn was the meta a while ago but dont know how people build it and what weapons and stats etc is good for pvp these days, recommend me anything as long as its fun, dont worry about my enjoyment if its a hard build cuz if worse comes to worse i WILL parry, stagger my attacks and jumping attack to roll catch, bait, etc to win if it comes down to it

I truly love the animations in this game

    Posted: 03 Apr 2020 02:35 AM PDT

Consider backstab and parrying animations. When you parry, you push the opponent onto the ground, and then finish him in a fancy way. When you backstab, you should land a strike first, grab the enemy by the spine and punish him with a lot of swift strikes. And all weapons have different animations!

I love DS3, it's a great game, but it's always a little dissapointing to backstab the enemy and then watch as he teleports in front of you for you to shove a sword into his ass. DS2 truly makes every strike special.

So I invaded someone without my consent

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 11:45 PM PDT

I'm sure it's just a mechanic in the game that I don't know about, but someone summoned me into their world as an invader, a grey spirit it said.

    I got killed immediately, so...

    What's all this then???

When you're going through the dungeons, lighting the giant urns, do you necessarily HAVE to kill the phantoms or can you avoid them long enough to do your business? Can you aged feather on out of there once you light it?
