I had no idea it would be there. Hid behind a rock and through hexes. Took about half it's damage down, then it disappeared. Can you kill it there? If so does it drop something unique? Posted: 24 Mar 2020 05:27 AM PDT They've been finicky lately but now me and my 4 friends are unable to connect at all anymore. Before it took like upwards of 5 attempts but it wasn't too hard to connect, now though I'm unable to connect at all even after upwards of an hour of trying and reloading the game. | Posted: 24 Mar 2020 06:22 AM PDT I wish that there was a Memory of Raime b/c well when you go into the memory u should fight Velstadt in his prime and like the mini-bosses that you encounter in DS3, for example, the giant wolf in AoA, when you beat it the wolf runs away and you get something but this time Velstadt beats you and you get his hammer but not when it is slightly corrupted by the dark when it only has the power of light. | Posted: 24 Mar 2020 07:29 AM PDT I was doing my first playthrough and was at the Iron Keep. I had been meticulous with my souls and upgrades and was building a beast of a character. It was hard but rewarding work. As with just about everyone else, I died a lot but was definitely gitting gud. Then, I was having a motherboard issue with my pre-built PC. Had to send it in for some professional maintenance. Backed up all my files, of course. Turns out, the motherboard is shot and I'm getting a full replacement. Then, today, I learned that DS2 doesn't do Steam cloud saves. I need you all to tell me that it's going to be okay, and that the rest of this game is worth the restart. Also, please hold me. | Posted: 24 Mar 2020 08:45 AM PDT Hi, you're probably sick of new players moaning about this game by now, but I'm trying to take an optimistic approach. I cant seem to enjoy DS2, I've played 1 and 3 multiple times and I loved them every playthrough, but I'm about 6 hours into DS2 and I just cant enjoy it. I love the difficulty of the souls games because, whilst they are definitely challenging, they aren't unfair. But DS2 feels like the odd one out, whether its the health diminishing with each death, or the way levels feel like they have the max enemies possible before the game crashes, or even the combat, it feels unfair to the player. Now that the rant is out of the way, I'm hoping that you guys have some tips to help me enjoy this a bit more, because I really do want to enjoy it like I did the other games. Posted: 24 Mar 2020 11:00 AM PDT I'm finally starting to love DS2 (SOTFS) after hating it for months due to what I thought was the oppressive difficulty of the beginning areas. DS1, DS3, and Bloodborne were a lot easier for me. I forced myself through and I've grown to love this game dearly, but my one problem is the bosses. I've done all of them up until the Old Iron King and almost all of them seemed like pushovers (compared to the other games). The areas are something else though. I love the challenge they've been imposing. I'll never forget opening a door to nowhere in Lost Bastille and just dropping unceremoniously to my death. I have more trouble dealing with new enemies that swarm and the area I'm fighting them in than any bosses so far. Looking at a quick location/boss list, it seems like there are a lot more to go. Do they become more challenging? I run with 2Hs and around 40% equip load with 100 Agility. I thought running without a shield or heavy armor was supposed to be a harder way to play DS games? Is that not true for DS2? Sorry for the word vomit. I'm just so happy that this game clicked for me and that I have a shit ton more "new" Dark Souls to look forward to for the next little while. Tell everyone to stay home and only allowed specialized people to take care of the hollows? Like, instead of sending an entire army of basic soldiers only for 300 hollows to get them as well and repeat, he only sent 20 dragon riders led by Velstadt or something like that? | Blue Sentinel invasions WHERE ARE YOU Posted: 24 Mar 2020 11:44 AM PDT So I'm a confirmed sinner (whoops) and I'd like to reduce that down to nothing because I am a Child of the Lord Almighty 🙏 I have been playing online with the delicate string ring and have NEVER been invaded by a blue sentinel. Granted I'm playing in 2020 5 years after release but the community still seems fairly active. I'm in the top tier for Soul Memory 45 mil+ and I thought that being at max would open me up to many more invasions especially this far into the game. Follow up question, there are 3 red phantoms that spawn just before the Old Dragonslayer boss on NG+ and they each drop Tokens of Fidelity and wear the blue sentinel gear... i'm wondering if getting killed by them would reduce my sin. Haven't tried yet though I killed them all on my first NG+ and they didn't respawn so I'll need to wait until NG++ to test. Thanks y'all and to any noble sentinels out there that are craving (xbox one) sinner blood... COME GET ME EDIT: Also wondering if aggroing Targay and letting him kill you would reduce sin???? Did you use unusual weapons, had a strategy to get to the boss room...? I just ran straight through all enemies and used the Crypt Greatsword as a weapon (it's the soul weapon you get from the Old Dead Soul), it has a relatively fast rolling attack and worked wonders also against Fume Knight [link] [comments] |

I heard some rumors from the mapmaker he was a bad dude so in a moment I dispatched him. I went back to get pardoned and it costs 236k!!! Is this going to get me invaded a lot more?
