Got there last night for the first time and looking over the entire city, I couldn't believe it. From all the decay and ruin down below to a city seemingly preserved in time blew me away. I just beat 4 Kings at SL9, WL5 Posted: 24 Feb 2020 08:45 PM PST Yes, it's because I want to invade the Burg, but still, it's a cosplay build, and I'll go easy on them. This is definitely the most difficult thing I've done in Dark Souls. It was so much harder than my SL1 run. 4 Kings at WL 15 with a +5 lightning reinforced club is a very different animal than 4 Kings at WL5 with a +5 Zweihander. I tried my +5 Claymore and my +0 Fire Flamberge, but they were doing like 60 damage per hit, out of 4K's 9000 HP. In the end, Havels with the Child's Mask, Power Within, and 3 gold pine resins did it. Wow, what a rush. [link] [comments] |

I've only been able to get about 10 through invading and I always have so much trouble dealing with Drakes unless I'm using a bow build. Normally, I'm okay with doing a bit of grinding but the drop rate is so low that I'm lucky to get 1 scale per run with a 410 drop rate. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 24 Feb 2020 04:43 AM PST I've been playing the remastered version of the game on ps4. If I'm lucky, I am able to get a few hours in on weekends while the kids are napping. That's meant a lot of relearning the finesse each week. But, I kept on keeping on, and I finally linked the fire last night! I still had some time, so i jumped immediately into a NG+, and let me tell you, I was cruising. Not touched in the asylum, took out the demon in 2 hits, and I'm riding high. At Firelink, I level up and buy a few miracles to maybe play around with this go around. Load up a new pyromancy to try, and away we go to the burgs! And here's where we get to the lesson I had to relearn - the little guys can still ruin your day. I got smoked, twice in a row! Nothing was really lost except for my pride. Now that I'm properly humiliated, I can try again this weekend. I'm excited to get through this NG+ and remember to stay a humble undead. [link] [comments] |

| I am stuck and i have to git gud Posted: 24 Feb 2020 06:21 PM PST I am playing the mod daughters of ash and i went to anor londo,extremly hard in this mod and i am stuck at O and S as per usual only this time i feel super hopeless,i cant summon because of the mod i need to be offline and i dont have humanity to summon solaire,i summoned him once and he didnt even get through the fog gate and i died,i have a pyromancer build and my weapon is not very good neither is my pyro flame because the mode is making leveling up things really hard.please help me i am going hollow.... | Solaire Questline/Murder (Spoilers) Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:51 PM PST This is my second playthrough of DSR (on different platforms, PS4 now Switch Lite, both have been NG) and both times I seem to have ###### up Solaire's questline. First time, after the Centipede Demon, he'd gone crazy. Ok, nothing I can do there. This time, after the Centipede Demon, he was at the bonfire near the lava lake, sane and depressed. After this, however, his summon sign does not appear near Gwyn (unless it's somewhere not obvious). Anyone know what I've done wrong? Does he appear somewhere else in between? I'll admit, first 4 hours I was a little flustered by the map, im usually not a fan of branching paths and no guide but it finally clicked that I need to embrace exploration. I restarted my character and I'm having an absolute blast just going everywhere. The combat is fantastic, currently running sword (the samurai sword you politely take from the merchant) and shield. Beat the bell gargoyles last night and can't wait to get home and beat that stone bitch underneath the blacksmith [link] [comments] |
