Dark souls remastered is 23.99 right now but the discount for owning the original dark souls is still valid, and combined with the current sale I only paid 3.99 for it! | Posted: 27 Nov 2019 11:46 AM PST The little violin intro that feels juuust a bit off, as if you walked into a situation you are not meant to be in. The wide shot of Smough simply standing there in quiet anticipation, your instant gut reaction of "oh dear, this is bad". The pan up to Ornstein. It's the perfect antithesis to the fight, no epic, heroic music, no frantic evasions. Just slow, sinister and composed. I dunno why we don't get to see that more often (at least on the Ptde you don't see it every time you enter the fog door). But I love it as much as the fight itself. [link] [comments] |

I think i discovered them on their original channel way back when but when i went back to download them all(YouTube is deleting too much of my favorite content!) they all seem to be scattered over various other YouTube channels where they thankfully got reuploaded. They are far from perfect but i like all of them, especially the Demon and Dark Souls one. Clearly had allot of effort put into them. These exist for every Dark Souls game as far as i know and are all directed by the same person(s) i think. If there's one for BloodBorne i'd love to know about it. [link] [comments] |

It was my first of the three and I feel that the other two were fairly easy comparatively, although some of the ganks in 2 were tough. I'm about to get bloodborne(my wife is getting me a PS4 for Christmas) so I'm wondering if bloodborne(which is reputed to be the most difficult of the souls games) will be easy for me as a seasoned ds3 player or can I expect a challenge? I also plan on getting sekiro and ds3 dlc because I've yet to fight the ds3 dlc bosses :( [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 28 Nov 2019 02:29 AM PST This was a dual wield jagged ghost blade SL1 solo melee run I started years and years ago. I never finished it on the PS3. I ended up re-starting this run on the PS4 and finishing it. I hooked up my PS3 to play some Oblivion, since I just beat Morrowind (again....) Dark Souls was in the disc drive so I figured I'd play a bit first. I remember starting this run. I played with a jagged ghost blade in each hand, shadow set armor, dark wood grain ring and FaP. Nothing else. No healing. No magic. No summons. No items besides stuff like Artorias' ring to progress. Artorias was my wall. I couldn't get past him. The JGB on SL1 did such shit damage against his armor. It took me at least 50 tries but I managed to beat him on PS4, only taking a single hit in the process. It's cool to have a save right at Artorias and Kalameet. They both gave me so much trou ke the first time I attempted this run, but now I know their movesets so well I expect to beat both my first try. Happy Turkey Day ya nerds. [link] [comments] |

| Is Dragonslayer spear a faith weapon? Posted: 27 Nov 2019 07:23 PM PST It has a B in Dex and a B in faith, but it does lightning damage. So does the lightning scale in faith, or how does that work? Been using the Dragonslayer spear in my faith builds for years, but only really started trying to actually break down the stats and what they do. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Nov 2019 04:39 PM PST I just got this game yesterday and a couple hours ago I just beat the capra demon....no wait let me clarify, I just bullied the capra demon. he surprised me with the dogs but after a slicing up his pups I ran up the stair to get some breathing room and got him into this loop where he would hit my shield and fall off the stair leaving himself open for a plunging attack. so I killed him that way. after all the rumors I heard about how difficult this boss was, I feel almost cheated, I had a way harder time with the Taurus demon than I did with the Capra demon. so what was your "really? is that it?" moment.
