Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:20 AM PST I always notice several of the same messages outside the castle entrance, specifically, to the left of the doors where a narrow staircase leads down to a wall. I know people wanna trash DS2 for bad design, but this is good design. Its not just a pointless set of stairs... when you have to get the doors open by feeding souls to the giants, the enemies respawn. Where do they come from? Gee, I wonder if there was a place off screen where enemies could spawn. Hmm... [link] [comments] |

Equiped Spell and rushed to boss. Waited for occasion and... Spell turned into cold air that did nothing. Not even Wiki stated It. After about 26 tries i defeated this furry bastard. It includes a Hexer's Hood, Roaring Halberd, Red Sign Soapstone, Player Messages, and of course some throwable Dark Orbs to spam. I'm terrible about keeping my costumes and cosplays together and in good shape, but I really want to keep this one for hexer tomfoolery at conventions. On my first time through I rushed the game and got the black knight halberd for my entire journey just intending to beat the final boss, but this time I want to enjoy the game and dlc and possibly attempt all trophies on SOTFS. | Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:36 AM PST So I liked this "weapon" a lot, I even stopped using my at the time current weapon (which was much better) to use it. It's also the reason I'm a greatsword user/spellcaster. My question is, after I accidently used it on the Embedded, can I get it back if I Bonfire Ascetic the Demon of Song? I really don't want to, as the journey to it from the bonfire is a god damn nightmare, but if I can get it back, I'll gladly do it. Next question: can I improve it? I didn't get a chance to really do a whole lot with it, I was out of all materials at the time anyway, but I lost it to the Embedded. (My thought process was "Hey, this will unlock it and then I can get whatever it is behind the door, AND use this sweet new key weapon!") I know I can use resin on it, I think I used some, but I wanna really go whole hog on this and make it fantastic. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 03 Nov 2019 08:31 AM PST before i got into ds people would say this community is toxic and whatever and in my personal thats completely false, ive gotten s lot of help and support with the game in this sub. most comments where very helpful and nice, when im struggling with something in game people would always reply with useful comments or support. What's the best way to accumulate the 1M Soul Memory without killing a single boss? You surely need farming, but what enemies and in what area? I want to do some obscure runs, like killing Aava or Darklurker as first boss. But don't want to go months of farming hollow soldiers, if I don't have to. [link] [comments] |
