Were you ever scared of playing DS? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 01:41 AM PST Hey guys, more general question, than DS2 specific. Were you guys ever scared, or uncomfortable to play DS? Maybe at first, when you saw it, venturing into utter darkness, going around in dark ruins, no map... For me to share my experience since I make this post, when I first saw DS, I thought I would not have enough courage to do so. I always saw the game and for example The Last Giant, it looked a bit overwhelming to see his cinematic on youtube, how he unleashes, screams and charges at you. Or venturing into any dark cave, having the courage to go there, to get lost. But the game looked so cool I wanted to give it a shot anyway, I feel like what makes DS so rewarding is conquering your fear and exploring the world. The game really rewards you for everything in minor ways. People say DS is punishing, but I have found out that in a way, it is exactly the opposite. [link] [comments] |
Beyond the scope of light, beyond the reach of Dark... what could possibly await us? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 05:31 AM PST Platinum trophy, that's what. After 140 in-game hours, botched NPC quests, sun-broing for what seemed like forever at Fume Knight, farming Mad Warrior, meticulously checking off spells/hexes/miracles/pyromancies - but ultimately loving every minute of this game - I finally have the Dark Souls 2 SotFS platinum. There were a few of you who helped me rush through NG++ and it made the journey to Drangleic Castle much more enjoyable third time around, so thank you! Sorry for "just another platinum" post, but no one I know plays Dark Souls (trust me, I've tried convincing them). Now off to Lothric... \[T]/ [link] [comments] |

Bearer of the Curse Ganks Back (the Burnt Ivory King) Posted: 08 Nov 2019 12:07 PM PST Owned Sir Ninety-three Percent as a bonus round I did all bosses solo up to that point, sometimes you just gotta show the Ivory King what's it like to get ganked. [link] [comments] |

Are there any good 100% guides on SotFS edition? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 09:16 AM PST I've been looking for a guide with all items, npc quests, optional content, and dlc for SotFS but I've come up short. Is there anything out there like that that I may be missing? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 08 Nov 2019 12:32 AM PST Hey guys, I have noticed many people like to go for NG+ once they are done with the game first time. Is it really fun? Don't you pretty much stay in the same gear, slowing/stopping your character progression? I have always found out to be interesting to start with nothing and gear up, to have the visual and power progression. It feels badass to find that sword, or that cool armor and replace your previous armor and weapon. What makes NG+ fun for you? I am just curious if there is some progression beyond that is worthwhile, or the challenge makes up for the fun. Let me know :) [link] [comments] |
Huntsman Copse or Shaded Woods after finishing Sinner's Rise Posted: 08 Nov 2019 04:52 AM PST So far I've done this path: Betwixt > Majula > Forest of Fallen Giants > Heide's Tower of Flame > Blue Cathedral > No Mans Wharf > Lost Bastille > Belfry Luna > Sinner's Rise I know that it used to be recommended to do Huntsman Copse next because it's the fastest path to get the Dull Ember, but since that got moved in SotFS would I be fine going Shaded Woods > Doors of Pharros > Brightstone Cove? Asking because I want the Moonlight Greatsword, and shaded woods would get me it faster. Is there a difficulty reason this would be a bad idea, or maybe some plot reason/character interaction that only works if I do a different order? [link] [comments] |
YO. Anyone got any tips for summoning? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 04:50 AM PST At the moment, I'm playing through DS1, but when I beat it and play DS2 again, I wanna try and do more online stuff. I was thinking about giving the Rat King covenant a try, but I dunno how long summoning will take. I have Region Matchmaking set to Global, but am I missing anything for online play? (I'm playing on PS4, by the way. If there's a more active platform, I'll try and obtain a copy of SotFS for it) [link] [comments] |
Is vanila on PS3 still active? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 10:30 PM PST SM 32 million, i dont have any dlc and really dont want to farm enemies for sunlight medals id much rather join in on some jolly co-operation! Just wondering if any bosses are still active on vanilla. [link] [comments] |
For those of you that have watched sword art online what items are used for a good kirito cosplay Posted: 07 Nov 2019 04:52 PM PST I want to do a full kirito cosplay but I dont know much about armor that would fit the character [link] [comments] |
How do I tell someone I don't want to PVP? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 04:03 PM PST I keep getting invaded and I'm spamming the "No Way" gesture but the invaders will attack and kill me anyways. They aren't NPC invaders. Is there a better way to let someone know I do not want to PVP? I'd like to try to not stay hollow for my entire first play through of this game. [link] [comments] |
would anyone be down to be a summon on a couple iron king dlc bosses? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 09:57 PM PST 2 million souls later and still not good enough apparently. any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
DS2/SOTFS Separate Achievement Lists? (Xbox 360) Posted: 07 Nov 2019 04:39 PM PST Do the base Xbox 360 version and the SOTFS version have the same achievement list or separate ones meaning for 1000 or 2000 gamerscore total? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Update: The only thread I could find in the sub history was this post that says you cannot. That the SOTFS just uses the base games achievements. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Nov 2019 05:14 PM PST hi i was wondering if the servers were down. trying to summon my friend who is in the same tier as me were low level and we cant see any summoning signs anymore. were both human and everything checks out on our side but we can summon each other. any suggestions on what this could be [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Nov 2019 02:39 PM PST Today I was thinking about it in Iron Keep and Earthen Peek, I particularly think they have a badly placed enemy, but I really want to be wrong in this. We are climbing a ladder, an enemy jump behind us, we may die not for errors but for something that cannot be predicted. Let's climb a ladder, two ninjas fall throwing poisonous knives where we can also die and there is no way to foresee, besides the ninjas that stick to the ceiling so as not to be seen and really are not, which novice player will look up? Anyway, what is your opinion? thanks. [link] [comments] |
