Posted: 29 Nov 2019 03:06 AM PST i play Sotfs. i decided to have only caster.(staff+chime). right now i have 59 lvl VGR 10 END 10 VIT 5 ATN 20 INT 23 FTH 24 full hexer set + sunset stuff. right now as im pretty low on souls , i don't use resonant and only use dark orbs and great soul arrows. and at last, what im trying to say is i literally don't do dmg. like for comparison, i killed last giant pretty easily with soul arrow only, but at this point i hit only 50 dmg to dark invader forlorn. like there's no way that i kill invaders because even if i use all of my spells, it wont be enough to kill. also i need to hit 7 times to lion mages in shaded woods. it really doesn't make sense while u can just buy rapier and kill them in 2-3 hits. is it something that am i doing wrong or it's just unplayable with caster only ? | How do you get to Smelter Demon in Iron Keep without clearing out the area? Posted: 29 Nov 2019 01:59 PM PST I try to run past the enemies but the Alonne Knight Captain closest to where I came from always catches me with an arrow while i'm trying to get through the fog gate, his arrows stuns me and the other enemies then kill me. | Posted: 29 Nov 2019 10:31 AM PST OK, in the Forest of Giants, zombie castle section, I climb to the ramparts and kill the turtle w/ Maul. I see a bomb caster on the corner of the platform, so instead of dealing with him from below, I climb up the ladder and beeline towards him. Kill him, but then realize some other things have awoken. I die and see in the distance a floating armored boss. Go back and this time, I deal with the bomb thrower from below by using some throwing knives. Get on the platform and awaken some zombies. Its a 3-4 v. 1 fight and I survive with a little luck. Loot everything on the platform, looking around for the boss. Where is the boss? OK, I got an Estus shard, but did not get a chance to fight the boss, he no longer spawns. Is this a bug or a "one time special" encounter? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 28 Nov 2019 10:09 PM PST I'm on PS4 and I accidentally maxed out the hour counter on a character by putting my PS4 into rest mode without quitting the game. The hour counter is forever stuck at 999:59:59 now. This wouldn't normally be a problem but I killed Laddersmith Gilligan in Majula and his tombstone isn't appearing. I know it should be behind the Crestfallen Warrior and I know the tombstones appear after a few hours usually, and it's been lots of hours in-game since I killed Gilligan but his tombstone still isn't appearing. Could it be because the hour counter on that character never progressed? Maybe that's how the countdown for tombstones is determined? Has anyone else run into this issue before? Edit: I just killed Melentia to see if her tombstone will show up eventually, I'll keep this post updated. [link] [comments] |

I searched a bit but only found achievements/trophy guides with spoilers, but of course i don't want spoilers ;) I started DS2 a few days ago and just got to the third boss. I only want to know if there are certain things i have to take care of to not ruin to get any trophies, like using boss souls for souls instead keeping them to make boss weapons. I already read that it takes about 2.5 playthroughs to get platinum. So, should i take care of some stuff or can i enjoy the first playthrough and then read guides for achievements in NG+ etc?
