This a story that I must share So it turns out when you are trying to upgrade weapons to +10 to get boss weapons, you should probably keep Andre alive. I definitely learned this the hard way. Shoutout to u/Cloakster0 for being part of this story as well. So the good old Titanite Demon that lives below Andre really wants your blood sometimes. As I was returning from beating the Moonlight Butterfly, this demon shoots lightning at me. No big deal, I've dealt with this before. So I am on the stairs, and the lightning is coming for my booty. I roll to avoid, and accidentally hit Andre. At this point, I don't have enough souls to pay Oswald for atonement, so it was do or die between Andre and me. Andre, unfortunately, got the short end of the stick. This was about 2ish months ago. Fast forward to today, and I am trading some things with u/Cloakster0. I go to the happy giant to get some boss weapons that I need to get that pesky Knight's Honor trophy. I realize that I need to upgrade a Greatsword for the Cursed Greatsword of Artorias. I get it to +5, then realize I need someone to ascend it for me so I can get the boss weapon. The only problem is in my world, Andre is very dead. So I tell Cloakster0 and he proceeds to tell me that I am a horrible, terrible monster for killing Andre. It is true. I am a monster, and all that I wish for is forgiveness. He brings the sword to his Andre for me, and he gets the upgrades I need. He brings it back along with what he tells me are very rare 1 in 100 drop items that only few people have ever seen. He drops them for me, and it is 18 dung pies. I definitely deserve that. We move on and I finally get the Knight's Honor Trophy. But I cannot move on until I atone for my sins for killing Andre of Astora. So please Reddit gods, I ask for forgiveness for taking the life of Andre the Blacksmith. "Why does he keep moving just when I'm about to attack?" "Where the fuck did he get lightning from?" "Why is he so aggressive?" "*incoherent mess of rage*" "Haha I got him! Man that didn't do so much damag- *gets 1/3 HP drained with a weak attack*" It's literally the game feeding you your own medicine. I might be looking to deep into this but that's how the fight was for me. I don't know how but I beat O&S solo in less tries (4-5) than this bastard of a boss (22). [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 16 Oct 2019 02:13 AM PDT I have loved this game for so many years and I decided to finally grind out all the covenants, upgrade paths and special weapons over this last month and a half. I was on NG+3 at the Giant Blacksmith when I realized I forget to get Sif's soul so back I went. Once I had the final boss item I realized I forgot to get a weapon up the regular magic path so I loaded up a different character in NG, farmed the crystal golems at the archive, dipped in to pick up the ember, made a jaunty little run through the crystal caves with lots of pebbles to pick up the Blue Slab and visited Richard for a my Dark Soul. | What is this giant red enemy in The Abyss called? Posted: 15 Oct 2019 04:36 PM PDT I don't know how else to explain it. It looks identical to the strange enemy you fight before getting to the Oolacile Township Dungeon (forgot what the enemy was called) but is red. It does a ton of damage and I haven't encountered it in any other playthroughs of mine. Super weird. Edit: If it helps I'm at 99 Humanity atm, which may have caused this. I'm not sure. Now I'm fighting Manus and in my best try I died when he had only 25% of his life left. It's very hard but Idk how Kalameet will be. [link] [comments] |
