| Posted: 10 Oct 2019 02:36 PM PDT i am doing a Co-op run with a buddy and we managed to get to Drangleic Castle. after we killed the Twin Dragonrider in my world (we always go for the boss in his world first and then in mine.) i went back to Majula to level up. just as i am in the Loading screen back to Drangleic Castle my buddy told me he got invaded but he managed to push him down the elevator shaft. he summoned me and a moment in we got invaded by the same invader again. He Sadly managed to kill my buddy though, but oh well. I went ahead to place my sign back down so he can summon me again when i saw that another person also placed his sign down. a couple seconds later i got summoned into the World of the guy that i saw placing his sign down. And an invader was right infront of him. Surprise it was the exact same invader that i just dealed with with my buddy. i tried my best to kill the invader but the invader backed off towards the door where the two Desert Sorcerers Are and the Alonne Captain on top. i managed to get the invader to one hit from death but then the Alonne Captain sniped me. The Invader was one hit from death and the Host on like one HP left (i´m really cheering for this host that he got the invader). I placed my sign down and got summoned by my buddy so we went up the elevator to get the key to the King´s Passage. the moment we arrived up there we got invaded by again the exact same invader. he sadly managed to kill my buddy again. Finally we managed to get to the Boss and we had bad luck since the Boss just decided to ignore me and the two NPC summons completly and touchdown jump killed my buddy. we tried it again. and against all the odds, the Looking Glass Knight summoned a real player (this time not the same guy though) we managed to kill the invader (with the NPC Summon landing the last hit) and killed his Host. after that we went for my world and managed to kill the Boss without getting invaded once. This is the first time i got invaded that many times in DS 2 and even rarer, that many times by the exact same invader. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Oct 2019 12:08 PM PDT I'm trying to put together a raw weapon build, but to optimize the stacking of the flynn's ring with the ROB+2 I need something upgradeable with regular titanite and that deals high dps when infused raw, does anyone know what weapon(s) would be ideal for this type of build? | Posted: 10 Oct 2019 10:37 AM PDT i am still tinkering with low SM builds. you guys have been very helpful thus far, i have another question. as far as AGI is concerned, is there really that big of a difference in 1 or 2 i-frames? at 88 AGI, i get 8 frames, at 92, 9 frames, and 10 frames are at 96. on a low SM character, this ends up being costly, relative to the other things you can invest souls in. so my question is, how big of a difference does 1 or 2 i frames represent. i am leaning towards "git gud" at dodging, as a more cost effective way to account for those 2 lost frames at remaining at 88 AGI, rather than spending the souls to get to 96 AGI to account for poorer timing. I've been wanting to do a no death, No bonfire run for ages now, (gotta get that illusory bling, the ultimate in DS2 pure unrelenting swag) I'm gonna be Streaming it on mixer at https://mixer.com/Vargrexregis and I'm hoping some of you might join me, perhaps we can do this run together and maybe do some jolly cooperation sometime. I played DS2 and beat it once, but I moved on to soulslikes and with my purchase of DS2 and 3, I want to sit down and truly master this game, as while it garners a lot of hate for it's deviation from the original formula, I think scholar of the first sin is alright, and it offers some truly deep customization as far as playstyle goes. But there was no warning AT ALL about being invaded, and I was also Hollowed (Undead) so how did I get invaded to begin with? I thought it was an NPC spawn but I couldn't Homeward Bone away which only happens during an invasion. [link] [comments] |

| Iron Keep ruining my playthrough Posted: 10 Oct 2019 12:45 AM PDT So I lost my first build (knight lvl103) because I tried to reload my game in which I was resting at the first bonfire in Iron Keep. The loading screen just tayed open for ages, didn't freeze, didn't progress either. Also, half the scenery keeps blinking white and black, which is more minor. But then sometimes the entire corridor with the merchant in it dissappears. What gives? Is it just buggy, or have I likely damaged the disc or what? [link] [comments] |

To my surprise they open the door and waltz right in to the throne of want. I don't have the Kings ring in my own game and was really surprised had no idea this could happen .
