    Aava is definitely the hardest boss i have fought but the satisfaction from winning was amazing. The fact that this cat needs frame perfect dodges was incredibly annoying to learn

    I've played this game a few times, and this might be dumb, but why do the Sinner, Rotten, Iron King, and Freja need to die to go through the Shrine of Winter? Does it have to do with their ties to DS1 bosses?

    I will go first.

    You're a cursed undead but you were never supposed to Seek or be the next monarch. Your job is to run around Drangleic and put all the loot back the actual next monarch looted on his run.

    Your timeline starts where he chooses to start an NG cycle on the Majula bonfire and ends when you're done putting everything back. The map has no bosses and only things that spawn when you sit on the bonfire spawn.

    You don't know if you placed the correct loot back until you select 'Done' on the Majula bonfire and if you put something wrong you start from the beggining.

    Can poison and toxic be applied at the same time? Do they stack?

    If you power stance weapons that both apply poison, does that increase the rate that you poison enemies?

    Hi, does anyone know how to find the pale drake soul? I read online that it was supposed to spawn in the boss arena in a red orb after defeating Freja, but nothing spawned. I even used a bonfire ascetic to try and re-fight her, but she didn't respawn. I have the other 3 lord's souls so i'm not sure what to do to progress besides getting the 1 million soul memory.

    Frigid Outskirts (Ivory King DLC) reindeer herd really hard (SPOILERS)

    The lack of bonfires is kicking my ass. Its harder than the blue smelter demon area which at least didn't have enemies which need some type of pancake smash weapon to get past them reasonably quickly otherwise I'd get stampeded when another reindeer spawns.

    I know its possible to just dash through while leaving summons behind to deal with the enemies but thats not how I want to play the game.

    Edit- Prism stones will be cleared after each death, so I can't mark a path to follow to each of the buildings which is more bs.

    Lock on attacks are behaving differently with Ultra Greatsword.

    So, I've been wanting to use the Greatsword for a while. I can now wield it without causing any slow rolling (though it does out my ratio at 65.8%). But I've noticed something weird.

    If I'm using any other weapon and I'm locked on an enemy and I'm backing away from the enemy and I attack, my attack goes forward to hit the enemy. Same if it's to the side or whatever. I can MOVE in any direction and always attack at the enemy I'm locked on to.

    With the Greatsword though, if I'm backing up, locked on and attack, my attack animation turns me around and I attack behind me. It ignores the lock on and always attacked wherever I'm moving.

    This essentially means the only way I can use the weapon is to always be standing still or pressing forward. This is not the case for any other weapon I've used and it's such an issue I really can't even use it.

    Is this stat related or is this just how the sword functions?

    I know this is somewhat of a big favor but I accidentally killed the merchant/worksmith that makes boss weapons

    I'm a dex build and I really want the chaos blade. I fell in love with it in ds3, but as said above, I can't get it now and I'm looking for someone who wouldn't care to trade it with me. Pretty much everything is on the table for me trading wise. Especially for a strength build I have some nice weapons, but yeah it'd be greatly appreciated Sm almost 2 million

    [Spoiler] After finishing the game i have some more questions left

    I played DkS1 and 2 one after the other and I will play the third one next, so if some of the stuff I'm asking about is touched on in that final game, I'm satisfied with a "you will see, just wait".

    With that said, after finishing all DLCs I'm left to ponder the following questions by myself, because I didn't find an answer in the game.

    1. What did King Vendrick see when he "looked into the very essence of soul". What is the very essence of soul?

    2. Is there any information on the armor on the cover of scholar of the first sin? I can conclude that it is most likely the titular scholar, Lord Aldia, but is there any in game representation of that armor?

    3. In regards to Aldia himself, what is his exact goal? He doesn't like the illusion created by the curse, OK. But he doesn't really say he wants to destroy the curse either. From the SotFS ending it seems he mostly is curious and wants to see what the chosen undead will do, now that he renounced the cycle of fire and dark, but that doesn't fit at all in my mind to the single mindedness he showed in reaching his current state and the sacrifices (of others) he was ready to make.

    4. What is the power of the giants that Vendrick managed to obtain? Since it is said the golems came afterwards was it the art of soul manipulation?

    5. How am I supposed to interpret the intro? At first I thought DkS2 was in a parallel world due to that maelstrom and the start in Inbetwixt, but everything else doesn't fit with that theory, since it is more closely fitting to DkS1 with its "time is out of order" than a full parallel world.

    6. Where is the fourth fire keeper? Or was it meant as a nod towards the emerald herald as "fake" fire keeper? (Or was she made from the fourth one?)

    7. Souls and their mechanics are not well explained in either of the first games, but I was surprised how Alsanna could give us her soul and still live. With Gwyn's Soul in DkS1 I can understand how he could divide it and give it to someone else since it wasn't his own in the first place, but something he himself found. But Alsanna IS a fragment of the abyss. Giving that fundamental part of her away, is she simply a hollow afterwards?
