I no hit Fume Knight with no hud

    Posted: 21 Feb 2021 08:11 PM PST

After the long grind, I’ve beat ds2 bow only and with that every souls game bow only as well, it was fun and tough, but finally I sit on the throne.

I'm addicted to the Craftsman's Hammer.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 01:05 PM PST

As soon as I picked it up I knew it was special. A fast, hard-hitting hammer that was perfect for all of the heavy armored knights I had been encountering. I made sure to save all of my Twinkling Titanite for this special hammer. I eventually leveled a Zweihander and the Lost Sinner's Sword for mobs and fleshy bosses, and have been leveling the Dragonrider Bow for range.

However, I read somewhere on this sub that the Craftsman's Hammer was a great weapon "for the first half of the game." I figured that I'd encounter something that would be an obvious replacement, but that moment never came. I am currently in the Dragon's Sanctum and still rocking that hammer. Am I being too narrow minded? Am I missing the forest for the trees? Or should I just keep doing my thing?

So, what kinds of characters will you guys be making for Return to Drangleic??

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 07:29 AM PST

Hey guys! I'm sure many of you are as excited as I am for RtD coming up next weekend. I'd love to know what kinds of builds or themed characters you were all thinking of making this time around! Feel free to ask any questions you may have about certain build types or weapons here as well.

As for me, I'm planning to make a build centered around the black knight weapons, minus the halberd since that requires a bit more dex. I love the designs of all those weapons, but I have never used them in ds2, so I'm looking forward to giving them a try.

What console are you playing Return to Drangleic on?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 11:30 AM PST

Asking because I'm trying to decide between PS4 and PC myself. I'm leaning PC if the playerbase is there!

Is the agape ring necessary for return to Drangleic?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 06:51 AM PST

I have one character playthough under my belt on DS2, did a few NGs, 100%, even did a no bonfire run. But I racked up a lot of soul memory and the lack of co-op and pvp was really noticeable.

Never used the agape ring - is this something worth paying attention to? Want to get on return to Drangleic and hopefully max the co-op and invasions. Guess I'm not clear on whether it's purely a twink tool or for people looking to hit very precise pvp soul mem ranges, or whether it's generally useful to cap things out for when you're taking yourself out of the busiest co-op range.

    RETURN TO DRANGLEIC DISCORD

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 12:08 PM PST

Hello SunBros I have made a discord for the upcoming Return to Drangleic event a little early. I thought it would be cool if we had a place where we could get together and chat and look for other players wanting to partake in jolly cooperation.

    Link for the Discord:

Still working on it so if anyone has suggestions please let me know.

The messages(people putting them down) in ds2 are the best among the others(guide me from the beginning toward the end). I actually never got my messages rated in other soul games, Got my messages rated 10 times in ds2. The community of ds2 is great/kings land. Nuff said

Is force affected by any rings?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 11:15 AM PST

Can force gain effectiveness from the ivory warriors ring (more stamina damage to enemies who block) or the stone ring (more poise damage)?
