Posted: 20 Aug 2020 11:18 PM PDT Personally, at the last time you met Lucatiel(ofc you obviously didn't know it would be the last until she said it's the end of her journey), I would take out a human effigy. Show it to her. She may still don't understand what it's about. Then tell her to see and under no circumstances do anything to what she sees. Then proceed to kill myself, revive at the bonfire, remove my helm to show her Im hollow and then show her how the human effigy, the thing she could have always used to help her, works. Ofc id tell her that since we are both under the undead curse, the effigy is not a cure but a small sort solution for when the curse goes way into the person so she would start getting more effigies untill a cure is found On a side note, is our character mute and only responding with nods or he speaks yet we never get to hear it? Cuz if I was mute, in my case, if leave one of those messages to lucatiel [link] [comments] |

Previously, I had an artist known as TPR that did piano covers for some of the songs (my favorite being Abyss Watchers). They have the full soundtrack now, though. Posted: 21 Aug 2020 11:53 AM PDT I don't know how the arenas work I know things are off of Soul Memory but ill just go to SL200 for a fighting chance like I did before the release of Scholar to get my BoB and KoB neon auras on the 360 when PvP was poppin My take was that people are gonna overlevel anyways if I'm at 150 so I might as well use an extra 50 points to level the playing field but if someone can convince me that 150 is ideal and always was i'll cram and minmax. If I'm 150 with agape ring will I be okay in the arena or is it just going to match me up with any old person outside of my bracket in absence of a proper opponent scaled to my SM bracket Gonna need some fellow vets on this if you're still out there [link] [comments] |

| Saw something really interesting just now Posted: 20 Aug 2020 05:23 PM PDT So I'm on ng+7 world with my lvl532 155mil soul memory character tryna do a no death run because I have no life and saw an interesting thing. In the forest of fallen giants just before the cardinal tower bonfire (second) I was doin my thing one-shotting hollows with my +5magic Demon great-hammer and I was killing the guy who usually throws bombs at you just above the stair case and learned you can beat away bombs that are thrown at you and I even tested this out with the guy throwing bombs down from the earliest pursuer encounter and it works like spell deflections where they no longer do damage while it is hard to do I found it so interesting I droped my controller and came here to share it and while it probs won't help anyone I hope you found it as interesting and surprising as I did [link] [comments] |

| Everything Possible Before a boss (build suggestions) Posted: 21 Aug 2020 05:29 AM PDT So I've started another Everything Possible Before a Boss run. Inspired of course by Blue Lizard Jello's excellent series. And before I get really started (I have 24 Awestones right now, so a little less than 3 hours of farming those left) I'd like some build suggestions. Please remember the constraints of the build. The Rapier for instance would be significantly less effective since there will be no damage rings available. Magic is limited. The heaviest hitter available is Great Lightning Spear, but the cast count is too low. Sorcery is limited in practical terms to Soul Arrow + Great Soul Arrow. Hexes don't give much until you meet Grandahl the third time (Dark Fog and Scraps of Life will not carry you) and Pyromancy won't be very good (Dark Flame only, and not many Fire Seeds) I start as a Sorcerer (for ease of farming the Vanquisher's Seal from the Ogre in Forest of Fallen Giants) and the current plan is to transition to a Strength build. The plans for primary weapons are: Forest of Fallen Giants: Fire Longsword, Vanquisher's Seal, Spells Heide's Tower of Flames: Vanquisher's Seal, Great Club Grave of Saints: ? Probably spells and the Fire Longsword The Gutter: Fire Longsword + a few spells Black Gulch: Spells + Fire Longsword (This includes farming Chunks. Will probably get 30) Shaded Woods: Great Club + Great Magic Weapon (One shots the invisible guys) Dranglaeic Castle: Mostly Great Club. Some spells. Winter Wonderland: Greatsword, Great Club + Mastodon Greatsword (or just Fire Longsword. Undecided). Spells or Short Bow for pulls only. (Few poison or Fire arrows). I've experimented and even a +10 Hunter's Blackbow doesn't give you enough to rely on here. Chasms: May respec to a Hex build. [link] [comments] |

It can can hexes as well as sorceries, and its base attack power for magic / dark is 230. Fully upgraded, it's 300. What am I missing? On paper, it sounds badass. Is there something wrong with it?
