| Posted: 30 Jun 2020 01:07 PM PDT I'm a fromsoft vet (ds1, 3, bb) but ds2's scaling confuses me a little, in the sense that it just seems kind of low? I was messing around with a dedicated faith build, i.e. 60 faith and only low str/dex (i went for 15/15). i infused a longsword with lightning and was surprised by how mediocre it was. for comparison on the same build i infused a longsword with magic as well - my int is at 5. but the damage difference between the lightning and the magic longsword is about ~10%, despite just 5 int and 60 faith! i understand infusing already elemental weapons with their respective element gives better scaling, so i guess my question is: are those weapons the only ones worth infusing elemental? btw I also damage tested the two swords with lighting blade, and the damage difference was still only approx 15% [link] [comments] |

I mean like so many times I've never finished ng+ and I only have like two characters that have made it through parts of ng+, but I beat the game pretty regularly. Is that weird? I've beaten all the soulsborne games but ds2 is by far my favorite and it's kind of like comfort food for me to play through the game (especially the early parts of the game). So I was wondering if anyone else does this? Also, am I missing out on a lot by not advancing through the other new games? Thanks for listening! [link] [comments] |

No much addons or NG+ buffs am just really bad at rolling in the right moment. Worth to mention I was running blind for the first time the Old Iron King DLC and use it very poorly my smelter wedges, so I have to do the battle with un Ashen Idol buffing the fume knight every time he went close enough. all my experience can be resumed in this meme: https://imgur.com/5xZN43o by far the most difficult boss battle in my playthrough of all souls games. praise the sun! | Tips for Dark Souls Remastered player? Posted: 30 Jun 2020 03:39 PM PDT I just finished Dark Souls Remastered a couple days ago. Yesterday i finished NG+ and today i finished NG++. Now i bought and started DS2 (SOTFS). After fixing the terrible controls i played a bit, until the point where i come to the River with the big Cyclops in it. | Chime Question for Dex/FTH build Posted: 30 Jun 2020 11:53 AM PDT I'm a good way through the game on SOTFS (I have a ton of time on DS1/R but have yet to complete DS2). I was originally planning on a pure Dex build but decided to go Dex/FTH (a combo I never used in DS1). I'm sitting at 42Dex and 26FTH. I'm currently using DSS and am working my way to a Lightning Heide Spear (just picked one up in Sinner's Rise). What chime should I be using? I was thinking of sitting around 36 FTH to be able to pop a heavenly thunder on fat bosses and still buff up with Sunlight Blade. I'm eventually aiming for Bow of Want but I'm just rocking the Longbow +10 rn. [link] [comments] |
