Going back to Shulva city to restore the protection rings, dying, then back again and again. Carhillion was useless, Ellie was preferable since she can stagger the boss. I was using a fully upgraded Heide knight sword and almost got the boss twice if only I didn't miscalculated the distance between me and his GS swipe. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 07 Jun 2020 09:05 AM PDT So. I have played all of the major souls borne titles. I have a platinum in Bloodborne and sekiro, and over 90% of the trophies from DSR and DS3. However when I first played DS2, like most of the from soft community. I thought it was literally garbage compared to the other games. I beat it only once , and never touched any of the dlc because I just couldnt stand it and just wanted to play DS3. Now this game gets driven into the dirt on various subreddits on a DAILY basis. However, there are a handful of those that would willingly sacrifice their life defending this game. That's who I'm trying to reach with this post. Being bored out of my mind I decided I would give DS2 an honest effort once again. Please help me enjoy the game. Explain to me what makes it so special. Are there little details and nuances I'm missing? Should I approach it differently than DS3 ? Please help me understand what it is you love so much about this game. Since i already need sunlight spear, i skip the dark chasm covenant and farmed 30 medals. After i gave all medals, i get all 3 items as a reward but i didnt get achivement. I was online when i gave the last medal. And i cant offer anymore medal because it says "there is nothing more to offer. You have done your work". Should i go to the dark covenant for achivement? | Is flame swathe still a viable option to kill Darklurker at SL1? Posted: 07 Jun 2020 01:22 PM PDT Saw a post from who knows when and followed it to get 3 copies (9 casts with hexer hood) of flame swathe. I have a dark pyromancy flame+10 at full hollowing and obviously 6/6 int/fth (duh). Is it still a viable option? I find this boss just very tedious since about everything oneshots me and everytime I die I have to use another human effigy and clear the entire chasm again (just ran out of effegies). Honestly I just want this Darklurker part of the run to be over so I can move on to the more fun parts of the game (Fume Knight, Sir Alonne etc.). Idc if anyone thinks its cheesing, the only challenge I set myself is SL1 and thats it. Everything thats possible on SL1 is fair game for me. [link] [comments] |

I was thinking of a dual rapier or maybe like a long sword and rapier type dual weilding. I would try anything except magic builds. thanks for any ideas. I am mainly a DEX-user, but i leveled FTH and INT to the point (10) that i should be able to use it. I have a bleed stone in it, and it tears easily the Lost Bastille enemies, but only because of the bleed damage. I'm also hollow, and that rises the damage up a little bit. Is the weapon only well usable to those who have high Intelligence and Faith? [link] [comments] |
