| Help with a faithy PVE bishop havel build Posted: 20 May 2020 12:09 PM PDT For my friend, they love the armor set but for the love of londor we're having trouble finding a suitable build and I've only ever used faith for filthy hextrash reasons and I prefer to run around dressed like a prestess/nun/sorceress (fashion<3) so I really don't have the experience required to help them stat this one out. | Graverobber, Varg and Cera just might be the worst boss From has ever made Posted: 20 May 2020 08:20 AM PDT Fuck this fight, I did it solo and it was such a pain in the ass. The first 5 times I died by getting overrun because Varg and the Graverobber wouldn't separate from each other, so would both hit me. The sixth time I took it slow and I ran round the arena to distance myself from the 2 melee guys and got off one hit on Cera, I repeated this until he was dead. I then ran round the area trying to get the last 2 to split up, but they wouldn't, so I kept jumping in the water, running through the tunnel with the statue bulbasaur so they would follow me and hopefully one would get stuck on it to separate the pair. I did this for what felt like forever, slowly chipping away until it was just Varg left, Varg proceeded to keep pummelling me, so I had to run round in circles some more to heal but I eventually killed him. Fuck this boss, it took me like 25 minutes of running round in circles to kill them. Bed of Chaos is an asshole, but it least it knows its an asshole, bed of chaos is fucking terrible but at least it's a quick kill. Hopefully the other 2 bosses in this dlc are better because this one was fucking awful. [link] [comments] |
| Whats with that one shield and lance knight at Frozen Eleum Royce?? Posted: 20 May 2020 09:10 AM PDT The guy near the lower garrison bonfire. Theres 2 huts, one which houses the bonfire. I found the bonfire, rested then checked the other hut. I saw this knight with a white aura (and Im playing offline completely due to PS4 plus expiring) just sitting there. Thinking it was a mob, I hit him with a full twinblade combo and it did like 1/10th of his HP. I was like, oh shit I am screwed right? But no, he ran away?? I thought that was strange but maybe I had hit an npc or something. So I open the gate at the lower garrison, go to that snowy area with the white covetous demon, and this fucker shows up again to gank me????? Who is that guy? Why is he so sneaky? What the fuck have I done by hitting him? Offline play, no message about a phantom. What is going on? Ended up running all the way to the cave while he was still following me and just managed to feather home in time. Edit: He has a black rectangle shield and fights with a lance doing the charge or jumping attack. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 20 May 2020 01:07 PM PDT I have 3 of the 5 giants souls, so I decided to try fighting Vendrick. But his health... yeesh. I'm currently level 139, mostly a strength build. Didn't touch magic at all in this first playthrough. Been using a +10 Greatsword for a while now. After playing DS3 like crazy with mostly magic builds and only briefly trying out a pure strength build, I decided I wanted to try that with DS2. But am I going to be able to beat him like this? I feel like not having magic is really making this more difficult for me. Now I know I obviously can beat him, but I don't think I'm quite good enough to do it like this. | Finally beat all 41 DS2 bosses Posted: 19 May 2020 03:14 PM PDT After a good 55 hours, I can finally proudly say I beat all bosses in the game. My last area of the game was the Frigid Outskirts, and oh boy I can tell that if there's one area I won't ever revisit, it for sure is this one. Never felt so good when I beat those 2 dogs knowing that I was finally done with this place I played DS3 and Bloodborne before but I can now say that DS2 is my favorite so far. I'm now ready to take on the first DS game, hopefully it will be as fun as Dark Souls 2 was to me. That being said, I know for sure that I soon will revisit this fantastic game, but this time with much more knowledge and skill. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 20 May 2020 08:58 AM PDT So after completing the game and getting all 3 dlc crowns to start a fight club (because its a waste of effigies) i notice now when playing scholar edition on pc when you start a fight club in iron keep some people just try aim for the host of embers right off the bat......... For me thats pretty fucked up because i know they dont have to participate but if you clearly see prism stones layed out they arent for show. Its a petty problem for me that ruins fight clubs and makes pvp less enjoyable for me. Also for all you pvp players who spammed pyromancies and spells on me i fooken hate you XD those players make me generate more salt than the sea. [link] [comments] |

| Introducing my friend to the series! Posted: 19 May 2020 04:21 PM PDT So yesterday my friend decided he wanted to get into dark souls. He's never played anything on par with the souls games before but he's seen me playing them and got excited when he heard there was multiplayer, so yesterday we started new characters and off on our journey we went! Gotta say, I love this game more every time i play it. It's even more fun with a friend. Protecting him while he learns how to play and working together is fun as heck. He chose knight and I chose sorcerer, so we kind of have to rely on each other at different parts. We even just killed the last giant last night on only our second try. Sorry to gush I'm just super excited to be sharing this experience of this great series with a friend. :) [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 20 May 2020 11:02 AM PDT This asshole has killed me more than every boss in this game combined I beat the game in like three days I didn't really like it as it was constant ganks and most of the enemies I just run right past because they are just a waste of time and estus also a shit ton of poison but this guy is so fast the camera angle is shoved up your ass if you roll against a wall to hopefully not get hit but most of the time you get hit anyway because the hit boxes in this game just suck and the run up to the boss is another crappy gank fest as well (which doesn't matter anymore because I've killed them all enough times so they don't respawn) there is just never any time to heal.
