    About the “Demons”...

    Not very far into the game yet (just got to Iron Keep), but I was wondering how did the Demons we find get all the way from the Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith in Lordran to Drangleic?

    I am assume Lordran is somewhere far across the seas from Majula, and it's been like 1000 years since the Chosen Undead killed the Bed Of Chaos, surely the Demons should be all but extinct, and even if there were any how could they have gotten to Drangleic?

    Seen some posts on people trying to explain this. They say that anything monster-like is considered a Demon because Izalith, the origin of the Demons, and the Chaos Flame are all long forgotten. Then that begs the question: How can people can suddenly turn into "Demons" without being influenced by the Chaos Flame?

    So... I did it. I became a victim to the Royal Rat Vanguard. Not proud. In my defense I've recently been going through the games as a strength build and my first play through DS2 was as a quality build. I'm still getting used to the timing. I was getting a little overwhelmed since I prefer mid rolling to poise but I was managing. Then the mohawked miscreant came out and made me toxic and it went downhill from there. A bit of a learning curve from DS1 and 3

    Drangleic in slave knight boss fight?

    Hello people of reddit. My friends and I have noticed that there is a castle in the backround of the slave knight gael boss arena, and it looks very similar to Drangleic from ds2. Here are some pictures of both castles.

    Edit: I am open for discussion, but take angles into consideration too. Drangleic is slimmer from the front, but the castle itself is pretty lengthy. It most likely is just lothric, but the lore would match up regardless of which castle it is.

    Curved sword/Katana powerstance is nuts

    The moveset is simply amazing. Curved sword in right and Katana in left. The moveset is extremly fast and doesn't drain a lot of stamina while doing incredibly high damage. Additonaly the power attack is a double spin that poise breaks almost everything. (The weapons im using rn are blacksteel and warped)

    This damn dragon keeps dropping the Watchdragon Parma in the water below when I kill it from afar. I tried quitting the game and it was still there in the water down below, I actually rolled off hoping I could pick it up, the prompt popped up and I mashed the accept button but died too soon. Has anybody ever had this issue before and could possibly provide a suggestion. I wont move on without this shield.

    Need a nudge in the right direction

    Finally picked the game up again thanks to quarantine haha. Anyway needing help with character building..

    Currently setting at: Vgr 25 End 13 Vit 15 Atn 4 Str 30 Dec 17 Adp 12 Imt 3 Fth 6

    I've been using bastard sword +5 but just decided to try out the great club, and I think I'll be upgrading it but I'd like to find a set of light/quick swords to dual wield as a back up when I want to change my style.

    Currently setting at level 72 but have 100k souls and I'm not sure where to go with my character.

    I'm sure I need to get my adp up for the images, but should I also pump my faith and int for buffs and heals?

    Should I spend some souls with the blacksmith so I can get the armor he sales?

    So far the only great soul I have is the lost sinner, but I also have last giant, pursuer, dragonrider, old dragonslayer, and scorpions souls (I accidently consumed the boss soul from no man's wharf). Is my next area black gulch? Really not enjoying that area haha.

    Good PvE weapon?

    Some time ago, I finished DS2, but as a mage, cause I never tried this type of play style in other souls game, so I wanted to give it a try. Now, I created a new character and I have Str/Dex build( 28/20) and I cleared my way up until the Iron Keep, where my weapon is kinda letting me down( Fire Longsword). Any suggestions for a replace?

    Decided to try Augur of Darkness mod...

    1) Killed a white knight (heide knight) and it didn't drop anything. Isn't it supposed to? Thought these were like little optional bosses.

    2) Any general tips for the mod? I don't want a very difficult play through, already got all the achieves in the base game, just wanting to revisit the game with some changes.

    Not having fun

    I can't seem to enjoy this game. I think the pacing of this game isn't for me. It feels like the fights go really quick with the smaller mobs but really slow and tedious with the bigger enemies, not to mention enemy positioning and aggro ranges.

    This sucks because I really want to like 2 and enjoy the whole trilogy. Makes me want to just replay Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne instead. Does it get better? I'm in Sinner's Rise now.
