- I don’t think dark souls 3 ignores dark souls 2 like everyone thinks it does. Not at all.

This game is helping me pass time in these lockdowns we have in my country, and i never played it before. This is freaking amazing! Oh my god the scenery, the music, the characters, the bosses, the enemies. This is my first playthrough and i just started the first DLC area (after killing Nashandra and Vendrick) and i still feel like i did in the beggining. Can't wait to start the second one and actually pay attention to the story. Then if this lasts, theres 1 and 3 OH MY GOD! I absolutely fell in love with this game and thank you tp everybody that made it and thanks to the people online putting up helpful advice, thank you all! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:17 AM PDT If anything I think it stayed true to what dark souls 2 had set, and it did it well. If you go the path of the end of fire ending, the fire keeper tells you that while the flame may die new embers will one day restart the flame. This proves that Aldia and Vendrick were right all along to link the fire or to usher an age of dark does not matter. Man in either ending is merely a pawn of fate, and will never escape the cycle or the curse this way. If instead you kill the fire keeper right before this ending, you instead take the flame for yourself. This is the ending Nashandra would have gotten had she succeeded. Nashandra desired power above all else, and taking the flame for herself would give her exactly what she wanted. You succeed where Nashandra failed. Vendrick and Aldia were not only proven right, they were given the third path they spent their whole lives looking for. There's no cutscene, the credits don't roll, and there's no achievement for it. But that little girl painting a new world is exactly the ending Aldia and Vendrick desired. A world that will never rot or wilt away, that is completely free of the cycles of the outside world. Dark souls 3 has the most endings out of all the games because it is the accumulation of every characters desire put into an ending. You can link the first flame like Gwyn wants. Usher in an age of dark like Kaathe wanted in the past. Usurp it like Kaathe wants now. Steal it for yourself like Nashandra. Or you can help Gael succeed where Aldia and Vendrick failed. No offense to you if this doesent sway you, but to say dark souls 3 completely ignored 2 is bogus. [link] [comments] |

I used a human effigy as i have completely cursed and have half health, and that's where i realized there is a summon sign. I summoned silver chariot to assist me in battle, and made big spider boi quite a big joke. Felt quite sad I just missed what could've been a great boss battle. Ah well, see you in ng+ spider boi. Posted: 05 Apr 2020 10:56 AM PDT Shulva,Sanctum city, a constant annoying player was invading us but everything was fine, we even killed him a few times, but since he was really annoying we started throwing poison knives at him, then out of nowhere he threw an infinite amount of acid bombs (or whatever it is), killed us both and damaged our equipment. We reported him on Steam, but that ofc will do zero jack shit, so what are we supposed to do now? What can we do? He essentially holds us hostage, we cannot continue playing cause he just do this trick again and force us to lose an immense amount of souls, also can we call him out? Like show his profile here? This must be the lowest scum a person can get if you don't me saying. EDIT: So now if we lets say just quite the game if he invades, the game will punish us right? Just fuck... [link] [comments] |

I have 20,000 souls in my inventory (with the other 80K spent on whatever). If I had the agape ring, died, would my soul memory still be at 100,000 if I picked up the souls I lost? Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:24 AM PDT I started a new character to do a Vengarl cosplay, and both weapons have good scaling in strength and an E scaling in dex. At first glance a strength build makes sense. But I know due to diminishing returns it's not so straightforward as "strength good, dex bad" for these weapons. Even with a bad scaling in dex, would a 40/40 quality build get more out of these weapons than just a 50 strength min dex build? [link] [comments] |
