| So I find an item in iron keep that I can’t seem to find anywhere. Posted: 09 Apr 2020 03:28 AM PDT So I'm a first time player for dark souls 2: SOTFS. I bought the trilogy months ago. So anyways I'm in iron keep and I killed smelter demon and I go on through the door at the top where you see a alone knight and an iron clad beating on the platform. I killed the alone Knight and killed the iron clad. After I killed him I see an item on the floor I go and grab it and it said it was dark somthing but I didn't know what it was and I didn't look I just kept going. Well when I got to the other area right after picking up the item my ps4 took a huge sh!t and turned off. When I turned it back on the save I had was right before going in to that room with the iron clad. Does anyone know of a item that starts with dark? I checked the internet and didn't see the iron clad or alone knight drop anything close to Dark—-. Can someone help me out? I'm really curious about what I found. Btw I don't think it was dark knight stone it was more like dark with a s in the name I think. TLDR: Found item in iron keep started with dark- after killing alone knight ps4 turned off so I lost the most recent save so I can't see it in inventory. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 09 Apr 2020 01:06 AM PDT Hey DS2 subreddit. I just really wanted to make a post here. I started the series with Dark Souls 3. I love that game more than any other game I've ever played. After getting all th achievements and watching loads of playthroughs and other fun YouTube videos, it was time to move on and try Dark Souls 1. It was a very cool game. I liked it quite a bit. Wasn't as good as Dark Souls 3 for me but everyone's favorite souls game is probably the first one they played anyway. Well to get to the point, ever since I became a souls fan everybody said to stay away from Dark Souls 2. I heard about bad hitboxes, easy bosses, ADP, Soul Memory, and all that other stuff. Naturally, it was time to try it out. I went in with low expectations and I love this game. It's so unique from the other two. So charming. I remember laughing out loud in various parts. Like when invaders taunted me with emotes after destroying me, or when enemy AI would just break and they'd go charging into fire or start running away for their lives. I loved the sheer number of epic boss fights, especially in the dlc. I love the puzzles that actually really took me a while to figure out. Even the simpler stuff like the Shaded Woods and especially the soul-absorbing golems at the castle. All my friends who were veterans of all the souls games would tell me to git gud when I was stuck in 1 and 3, but they just wrote DS2 off as a broken game that was unfair. I thought the hypocrisy was silly. This is clearly a gathering place for people who enjoy this game. So I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed it too. A game doesn't have to be perfectly made to be a whole lot of fun. And fun is the most important part. [link] [comments] |

Right now I am level 26 and in the Forest of the Fallen Giants. So far I have only fought the Dragonrider (Tower of Flame) and the Pursuer appeared to me as a standard mob and then fucked off or something? Is this the "correct" path? Or did I skip some areas which I shouldn't have? I am currently running around some fucked up ruins with cannons and scared to death to move even by a cm... PS. I played Dark Souls for a short time (maybe 2-3 bosses), then quit the series (don't know why) and decided to buy Bloodborne. I platined Bloodborne. That was a good while ago (3 years?). Now I am fighting through DS, starting with DS2:Sotfs and my god, I am too impatient and too bad at parrying... It plays like a horror game because I die so freaking often. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 Apr 2020 11:20 AM PDT I am planing to buy Scholar of the First Sin pretty soon but does anyone know if you can mod Scholar of the First Sin without being banned right now? I know that you can't and shouldn't use DS2Fix, but can use iPG11 retextures, ReShade, GEM-fx, Sweet-fx, and/or Durazno? I say you shouldn't use DS2Fix because it looks like it is changing the durability of the weapons. Which could be the reason why people are being band.
