| Posted: 06 Nov 2019 11:49 AM PST What a ride! The level design and bosses are like a 100 times better! My favorite and hardest boss was Fume Knight, with my second favorite boss fight being Sir Alonne, even though he has some pretty crazy hitboxes. My favorite DLC was definitely Crown of the Old Iron King, second is Crown of the Ivory King, and last is Crown of the Sunken King, but all of them are amazing. I get the hype for the DLCs now, it truly is great and I wish more of what made the DLCs great was in the main game. Just wanted to tell someone haha, ok bye, I'm going to go get the platinum now, only a few sorcereries and all the other stuff left, and Benhart's questline. [link] [comments] |
| Why is my weapon breaking, just from hitting Tony The Tiger? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 03:48 PM PST I came literally within one hit of killing Aava. Then my Dragon Tooth fucking broke and my final hit didn't count. I had to go back, repair it, then do the whole thing over again. And even then, my weapon was at risk just from hitting the Frosted Flakes FuckFace. I wasn't shielding at all in the fight. I got the at-risk notification just from attacking, and it was an attack that broke it. Why was the tiger able to outlast my weapon durability? I never saw that happen with any other boss. Posted: 06 Nov 2019 08:40 AM PST Trying to get some early game twinkling titanite, so gone to fight the persuer in things Betwixt. However he appeared a bit too soon (before I killed the hippos) so I ran away a bit, came back killed the hippos and I hear his clanging sound somewhere around the beach but can't find him. Your health decreases every time you die, when I hit someone with a dual wielded sword for some reason I punch someone instead. There are so many enemies in one area and I can't heal myself anymore because I already used all those life gems. [link] [comments] |

Needd rapier choice pls Posted: 06 Nov 2019 08:21 AM PST I have a Hexer (at Iron Keep atm), using Dark Roaring Halberd (low upgrade rn, pretty shit atm, most of the time I use Fire Longsword with Dark Weapon) and I want to powerstance rapiers on top of it because Dark Orb spam is getting boring. Which rapiers are good? I'm concerned about DLCs too, will I be able to progress there, with all the dark resists? Never played with a dark build before. Chaos Rapier + ??? Chaos rapier looks nice. I recently made a new character, and I can't quite decide what weapons to use and what stats to invest in. the two I'm torn between are a strength Hexer or dex hexer. I'd do both, but I'm not sure how viable a build decent in many aspects is compared to one that's great in just a few. As for weapons, I've heard many people talking about how OP the rapier is, other than that I don't know much about dex weapons. The only strength weapon I've used is the battle axe, other than that, I don't know much. Of course, I'm trying to make a viable PVE build, so if these stat investments suck for PVE, please inform me of other options. Any build/weapon suggestions are appreciated. [link] [comments] |

| Question about Sorcerer/Pyro/Miracle build Posted: 05 Nov 2019 10:12 PM PST Hello, I've beaten Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 sotfs and currently playing DS3 so far I'm having a bad time with DS3 so I went back to playing DS2 sotfs and was planning to do a the NG+ for the remaining trophies. So far I've beaten the 2 games with a pure dex build (thrust weapon and bow without shield) and currently doing it on DS3. I really want to try a Sorcerer or Pyro build on DS2 sotfs. I have almost all the spells from the game and dlc but I'm confuse where to start. Like e.g. do sorcerer builds have 2 weapons? Like 1 sword and staff then shield? If sorcerers have 2 weapon like melee type then do they need to build up their dex and str for a more efficient weapon? Usually I don't post for something like this but I've search and I really don't understand the explanations so I've decided to ask on my own. [link] [comments] |
