Such a cool story line. I think ds2 might have some of my favorite story lines out of the entire series. [link] [comments] |

| What is your tactic when you feel overwhelmed or at a loss of where you should go? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 02:39 PM PDT I haven't played in a week or two simply because I feel like I'm at a loss and don't know what I should do. Should I explore and grind some levels? Should I respec my build? Did I miss something elsewhere? Basically I've been down two roads. Some haunted looking zone that ends in a carriage boss that wiped me instantly before I even knew what I was doing (I fell down a hole trying to run away) and somehow (its been a while) but I was exploring and came to a poison zone, found a boss flooded with poison, clearly I'm not equipped for that fight. What do you usually do to regain your bearings and get back on track? I don't know if I can beat either of those fights, and honestly I'm not even sure how I made me way to those areas (maybe I should go back to Majula and get my bearings on the land again? | Posted: 19 Oct 2019 05:08 PM PDT I just started the game and went to Majula. I explored the place and found this big dark staircase, I kept following and there's a big door. I was stuck at that location for five minutes till I realized there's a lever that can be pulled to open the gate. And I went to Heide's tower of flames or something like that. These huge fucking giants with huge ass swords and there's like more than a dozen of them kept following me and I was rolling till I went to a place where a giant was protecting a cave. I lured that giant and went inside the cave and there's this huge ass fucking monster boss with unlimited hp that I was supposed to fight! idk what happened but that boss falled from the height and I got shit tons of souls(like 8k but i don't remember). I got suspicious that shouldn't have happened as this game was famous for how challenging it could be, but there's not even a single monster that I've fought from Majula to this place. Anyways I went forward another giant monster came and there was this elevator that took me down right at the time when that huge monster was about to kill me. After going down, I went to another bonfire where I found a lady that said she can help me. I know I'm going the wrong way, but is this supposed to happen or this is a glitch? It's a pretty open world game if you can travel to anywhere on that map and can confuse the player so much. IDK what would've happened if I continued from that bonfire but I quickly traveled back to majula and finally found the way where I'm supposed to go. [link] [comments] |

But at least when the run-ups are shit (e.g. Blue Smelter and Reindeer Fuckland) I at least get rewarded with an actual boss battle. But NG+ Executioner's Chariot is the worst thing I have ever seen. It would be 1000% better if the NPC wasn't there. But I would rather not spend ten minutes trying to get in the damn boss door just to get ganked by a shit ton of skelemen or fucked up by some dumb hitboxes on the Chariot. [link] [comments] |
