| Question regarding the platinum process Posted: 03 Nov 2020 01:31 AM PST I wanted my first post on this sub to be something exciting but here we are lol I'm currently playing dark souls remastered, it's my first game in the souls trilogy and although i got the platinum trophies for both bloodborne and nioh without much trouble, i can easily see myself having a much harder time with getting platinums in the souls trilogy as the trophy lists here seem to be wayyy more complicated than nioh and bloodborne. Right now I've beat every boss in the main game and the dlc except for the final boss. I tried to keep my first run as blind as possible but i do know that the repeated playthroughs to get the platinum are mainly due to the boss weapons, my question was that do i have to use the boss souls that i got in this playthrough before going to ng+ or can i carry multiple boss souls for the same boss? I'm excited to fight the final boss but i also don't want to add another playthrough just because i didn't create the weapons even after having the souls. I hope my question makes sense. | Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:26 PM PST A little rant over something stupid that happened. After doing a blind playthrough for my first run of DSR, I looked up extra stuff I might've missed before NG+. I really wanted to complete Siegmeyer and Sieglinde's questline (the first playthrough I talked to Siegmeyer and he just jumped down into the Chaos Eaters and died, despite my attempts to save him). I made sure to kill all but one Chaos Eater this time, but when I was running out the last followed me and fell into one of the holes and died. When I noticed it was too late and couldn't quit the game. Damn Chaos Eater failed me, Siegmeyer's pride, and his daughter >:( [link] [comments] |

I have my Vitality at 30, endurance 40, strength 40, dexterity 20 and everything else i havent put any souls into. I dont use any magic just a black knight sword +5 and knight shield +5 Using the full gavel gear and ring to move. And level 85. Hope that's enough info. | Posted: 02 Nov 2020 04:09 PM PST So as far as I understand it, Hollowing is the process you start to go through once you are undead, where your mind degrades a little bit with each resurrection. The mindless zombie creatures are people who have died enough times that they've just faded away into instinct. But my question is, what's the deal with your character? In Dark Souls, your default state is explicitly referred to as being Hollow, and yet you're absolutely fine. Still clearly lucid, you can even hold conversations with NPCs. You can die as many times as you like and you never experience any of the symptoms you're supposed to. Is this just an oversight for the sake of gameplay? [link] [comments] |

However now my problem is: I can see his body at the bottom and its glowing indicating that he has something on him that I can collect, and it's obviously not souls. I completed dark souls (hooray), it's the first souls game I actually finished, and then I went into New Game Plus...It was nothing like what I expected. The forest hunter bandit almost one shots me, BUT it's the souls. 50K for killing the bell gargoyles. I used the darkroot farming method and currently have 999,999 souls. This is amazing.
