| Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:13 AM PDT Just wanted to give a shout out to my invader, Vrissy, who invaded me two days ago in Lost Bastille. I've been doing a shield only stream on a character named Tommy2Shields (after doing DS1), and fumbling around with where items are, demonstrating my poor planning, and generally just not remembering the game. Got invaded while I was poking around Lost Bastille looking for a soul vessel (see: poor planning) and was pretty sure I was going to get murdered, when in reality, Vrissy put on their shield and we had a shield dual. Easily the highlight of my shield-only run to date. Thanks Vrissy! Constantly reminded that Dark Souls has the best community ever. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:01 AM PDT This boss lives up to his expectations. Hard as balls. He is probably the best boss in the dark souls serious I've since fought. 1. Not a hassle to get to the fight(fucking smelter demon is the opposite) 2. Hard but not impossible. Good diverse move set that rewards patience and skill. Only move I kinda hate is on the second phase which he stabbed the ground and balls of fire comes. Feels pretty cheap when I died to it. 3. Doesn't have any bullshit. Most of the time I died I feel it's my fault. Except for the fireball move. 4. Actually feels like I'm improving at fighting him. My last attempt I passed his first phase only taking 1 hit. All in all great and difficult boss. Haven't beaten him. Gotta take a break from the stress. Prolly my favourite boss in the dark souls series. Second is O&S [link] [comments] |

I'm curious as to how enemy respawn works. I'm worried of "running out of resources". If all the enemies despawn and I'm stuck at half health with no humanity, am I stuck without joining the Covenant of Champions? If they don't respawn, I join the CoC, and then leave, will they respawn again? I'm just scared that I will run out of humanity and available souls because I did die a lot in DS1, especially during gank boss fights which I've heard are really common in DS2. [link] [comments] |

| Weird sound that are killing people in Dark souls 2 (SotFS) map room. Posted: 18 Apr 2020 11:51 AM PDT So, this is my first time playing. I noticed something when i was in the map room in the mansion. There are lots of blood stains on the map... when i touched a blood stain it looked like two people are fighting. And then there is this bonk sound and they both drop dead. Not only them but every single blood stain on map shows people dying with that bonk sound. Doesn't happen outside the map. | How to Perfect The Dragonrider Fall Method Posted: 18 Apr 2020 07:38 AM PDT Count 6 and a half steps THE EXACT MOMENT you enter the fight. Do not move at all once you enter the fight. the moment you count a half, run to his right and circle around him. If you count this exact amount of steps, you will land it every time, no matter what. This is based off of 8 bonfire aesthetics used to try numerous times, can confirm its a guaranteed win. ps: people get mad when i offer strategies like the pursuer one, not sure why but ok lol anyways have at it [link] [comments] |
